The link you have posted is about the Chrome & Firefox browser extension, which has been updated & patched, not the mobile app!

Tried last week, suggestions took ages to load and they hammer you with emails. Easy to unsubscribe but a bit odd for an app. Heat added though it's worth a try.
Call me suspicious but Grammarly gives me the creeps for some reason, the guys behind it have strong links to the Ukraine which in itself is obviously ok but there's just something weird about it.

I felt the same, oddly enough. I uninstalled it pretty quickly, it essentially seems to require permissions to all aspects of your phone's settings to operate, I think it even analysed my stool samples but I could be mistaken.
