There are 75,000 free tickets in total: 45,000 weekday tickets and 30,000 weekend tickets (including bank holiday Monday). You can claim them up to the day of each show, if there are tickets left for that day. You'll need to show your tickets on arrival, either on your phone or printed out.
As we say above, these are totally free tickets, and there should be no booking fee either. If at any point you're asked to add card details, go back and insert the code again.
If you're planning a home project, looking for inspiration or just fancy a mooch, this Grand Designs Live* link will score you totally free tickets to the event (usually £13-£16 each, plus £1.70 booking fee). It runs from Saturday 29 April until Sunday 7 May and it's at London's ExCeL centre.
The tickets should already be discounted when you go via the link, but if not you'll just need to enter the code MSEGDL23.
You can get up to two free adult tickets per order ,and up to two children aged 15 or under can go free too (child tickets don't count towards the free tickets allocation). Tickets are valid for one day only and you'll need to select in advance when you order which day you'd like to go.
