haha lmao!!

Or go to BBC good food and get (literally) thousands of recipes, all of which are reviewed.

There's a reason why the free Kindle books rarely get hot...

Lol

Hot for pic haha

I've never seen a veggie look like that, they are normally milky white and skinny ;0)

It's always weird just how many vegetarians/vegans meat eaters have apparently met. 5 years in the vegetarian society and I've met 4 vegans in that time, but apparently meat eaters have managed to meet loads, and they were all fascistic and skinny like in the sitcoms.

Its strange the hate veggies get for doing something that doesn't harm anyone and infact benefits the planet (not the mention the animals not being killed)

It's also extremely rare to find a preachy veggie.

Q: How do you know someone is a veggie
A: They will tell you when you offer them something they cannot eat

I'm a 6ft 4 19 stone guy and I've been vegan for 10 years. being vegan doesn't make you a weedy man who can barely lift a carrot

You are a bit overweight, doubt you can store fat by eating vegan.
Not calling you a liar, but just find it hard to believe.
Would be curios to find out how many meals a day you take and what they consist of.

Is there a way to print pages from a kindle book? Or to get them to PDF ?

The title is almost an oxymoron.

I'd like to see how you get 100g+ protein a day as a vegan. That's a lot of beans.

hmmm not impressed. A lot of the recipes called for protein powder (which if you were body building, you'd probably have for convenience anyway but I don't personally think it should be the basis of every meal...). One recipe required you to eat two tins of beans in one sitting. Another recipe had over 15 ingredients and yet only 2g of protein!! A freebie so cant complain but better recipes out there on pinterest!

i am overweight. not proud of it, and do want to lose a lot of weight, but just saying, being vegan doesnt make you automatically thin. i eat lots of carbs and protein, along with all the veg so thats no doubt the reason why

Genuine surprise, I tried gaining some weight on a vegetarian diet and found it almost impossible. And I did eat egss, dairy and fish.
Vegan should really make it even harder to store fat and easy to lose it.
Maybe you eat lots of sugars or fried chips, but still, I found I had to eat almost constantly.
Interesting case. What was your progress in the 10 years, lost weight or gained?

What has eating meat got to do with gaining weight? Unless your frying all your meat or eating meat with fat attached to it.. Maybe he has fried eggs, full fat milk, cheese, cream & doughnuts every day

A vegan, eating fried eggs ?

"Vegans, in addition to being vegetarian, do not use other animal products and by-products such as eggs, dairy products, honey, leather, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics, and soaps derived from animal products."

I am sure you tried to add something useful to the conversation, but in this case, you failed.

It is very very hard to gain or even maintain weight on a vegan diet.

I didn't properly read the bit about him being a vegan I was more talking about you saying you couldn't gain weight as a vegetarian,

When I went vegetarian, i gained weight, as I took it as an excuse to eat whatever I fancied. This was mostly down to eating tons of cheese and unhealthy fried food.

When I turned vegan, i lost a ton of weight, but it went up in the last couple of years. I don't eat huge amounts of sugary or fried foods. I just eat lots of bread, pasta, rice, and my portions are pretty big. Also, ive not exercised so much in the last few years. My weight isn't healthy, but the food i eat is, and my cholesterol is really low, iron levels high. i feel pretty good considering.

No more carrots, I don't want to look like that

Too many calories makes you fat, simples!

For anyone struggling to get enough protein on a vegan diet almond protein is splendid. I've been getting it by the kilo via fleabay delivered to my door for about £15

Tobey Maguire is a vegan and bulked up for the first Spiderman movie. It can be done.

So the book is from a guy that spends most of his time in the gym... Interesting

thanks for book
