Online says ends Monday, but the bloke in store seemed to think it might be on for longer than that.

(I'm really sorry - I have the image saved but can't find the guide of how to add it to my post. If someone would be kind enough to point me in the right direction I'll add it in. Thanks)

For some reason it works as cut and paste but won't work where I put it in the direct link box.

Not voted as i have actualy bought from Halfords also!

i use mine on a daily basis and it is very well made
the drawers open smoothly
it beats paying out three times as much for a snap-on tool chest
also while your in halfords check out the professional tools
not a bad price at all, plus if you break an item, pop back to halfords and they replace it for free.

Is that right. I do not think so. In fact. I know so. Warranty does not cover any mechanical parts.

Can you clarify if you have had an item replaced outwith the initial 12 month period.

I have had tools from the Halfords Professional range replaced outside of the 12 month warranty period, on one occasion I was refused but asked to speak to the manager.

It doesn't cover ratchets or other moving parts but nothing beats Snap-on ratchets anyway (Stahlwille comes close)!

I've just bought these tool boxes and like them a lot. The lock on the chest is a bit fiddly but that's my only gripe

Yes, exactly. Does not cover moving parts. So is an absolute con.

Not a con as they did replace a four year old spanner with new, but as with any warranty from any company its only as good as the small print

Has someone at Halfords upset you or something?? I checked this thread fully expecting you to have spouted a load unsubstantiated crap about the Halfords Warranty situation.

Why don't you just give it up, many people have given you real world examples of having tools replaced under the warranty and still you persist in posting poor advice and information claiming you know best.

Who do you think you are? I can say what I like. Free speech and all that. So why don't you do likewise and stop telling me what I can and cannot do. What I am stating is exactly as per Halfords warranty, ie. no mechanical parts are covered. What the heck is ambiguous about that?
Back to reality now. I have yet to see an example of someone having a moving part replaced after the 12 month initial statutory warranty period has expired.
:x

PS. It is people like you that get others banned from this site. You push people to react and then we get banned. So just cool it with the comments.
