FREE HAPPY BUTTER ORGANIC GRASSFED GHEE

Well it’s all true and our West Country, organic grassfed ghee is simply ghee-licious!

Ghee is butter oil, with water and milk solids removed for a pure and nutty flavour that can be cooked to high temperatures without smoking. But unlike butter, ghee is virtually lactose and casein free so most people with diet sensitivities can have it. It’s also packed with essential fats and vitamins, is kind on tummies and tastes divine.

There’s no beating our Happy Butter Organic Ghee and Organic Golden Turmeric Ghee, made with fresh turmeric for extra smiles. It tastes so good that it’s even won awards!

To show you just how ghee-licious and nourishing it is, we’re giving away 50 jars of our West Country, organic grassfed ghee to 50 people that sign up to our mailing list before the 1st of January.

I don't need have a few drinks to appreciate those comments. When I saw this posting the first thing I thought was, how can it seriously be called 'happy' butter...
Living in a rural area I have witnessed cows bellowing for their calves for weeks on end, throughout the night, when their calves are removed all so we can then steal their 'baby cow growth juice' aka milk.
So yeah.... It is interesting when someone points out the reality of he situation.
Milk is produced for babies.... If it ain't your mother and you ain't a baby why do you need to be suckling the booby juice...haha

All of which have problems associated with their production.

But I was asking a broader question, so I'll try again. What do you eat and drink?

What an inane question! How could I possibly name everything i eat and drink?

I will say I don't consume any animal products.

Now a question for you, why are you so defensive over industries that abuse and kill animals for profit with little regard for the health of those consuming the end product?

Still not answering the question. You can surely answer in general terms. And do you use leather, wool. Can you be sure you're not impacting on animals in any way?

Bored of your nonsense. Stop with the inane questions, you are only asking them to deflect from questioning your own conscience!

Blocking you now..

If he has blocked you he can't see your comments anymore....
Tbh I think he did answer your question, he stated he ate a plant based diet, didn't use leather/wool and was careful his lifestyle didn't impact on animals.
I think the point he was trying to make was that by its very nature butter doesn't give cows a happy life, so to have a product trading in on this happy cow idea is a little misleading.
Anyway that's what I understood from the comments made...

"Tbh I think he did answer your question, he stated he ate a plant based diet, didn't use leather/wool and was careful his lifestyle didn't impact on animals."

No. He cited various alternatives to cow's milk. The fact he chose to block me doesn't particularly interest me, but it speaks volumes that he'd do that rather than answer a very simple question.

I smell naïve hypocrite.

You asked what he ate in 'general' terms.... He made it clear that he ate a plant based (non-animal) diet. I'm not sure for what reasons you perhaps need more information; but there are loads of really useful resources online if you are interested in what those on plant based diets eat. I think he referenced the alternatives to milk because that was relevent to the post.
I don't think he was avoiding the question, more likely didn't want to be drawn into a full discussion on his lifestyle and eating habits....lol

That's not what he said at all. He avoided a direct simple question. Nowhere did he say he ate a plant based diet. All he said was "Almond, soy, rice or coconut milk are all good non dairyalternatives".

No it doesn't. Many people don't class fish as animals, for example. And to get back to my original point, I was merely trying to establish what he ate and drank that didn't impact on animals in any way, as he claimed.

Addressing your comment "Living in a rural area I have witnessed cows bellowing for their calves for weeks on end, throughout the night, when their calves are removed all so we can then steal their 'baby cow growth juice' aka milk."
I've heard cattle from calves, through stirks to cows and bulls bellowing. it's what they do. Why? I wouldn't presume to know, and certainly wouldn't deem it to be down to a single debatable issue just to try and support a dubious argument.
And, of course, you miss the point that if cattle weren't reared for meat or dairy products, they wouldn't be there.

Nowhere in their marketing do they purport that the cows are happy. This is a far reaching animal rights argument that really doesn't belong on a casual post about a free food sample.

Will there be further lambasting of all other posts related to animal products.. doubt it!

Your Vegan detector must be off. If there was a Vegan in here, it would have been the first thing they said.

Would you like milk with that? No I’m Vegan.
Can I interest you in a Jelly sweet? No I’m Vegan.
Are you right or left handed? No, I’m Vegan.
Does that broken leg hurt? No I’m Vegan.

You get my jist.

LemonHoney thank you for your post. To others:::Are we here to acknowledge this post or here to read of someones debate about anothers lifestyle. To be honest it is their business to lead their life however they wish without an inquisition. Their opinion is theirs & as the questions in point had been answered maybe the topic should have been left at that. Happy bargain hunting!!!
