If you have to test for it, your water ain’t hard; water marks and constantly having to empty crud out of the kettle is all the test you need.

If the water on Scotland wasn’t so good I’d be up in arms over this map of the UK!

Ordered, thanks
If you boil your water more than once you'll get worse "crud", my water is so hard I have to double filter it

Don't need to use a kit, just use the map.

Very good point sir. I didn't even notice the small text that says UK! Someone clearly doesn't know their political geography. You're very lucky with your abundance of igneous rocks.

A map of the UK you say? Is this the revised Brexit & Scottish independence map?
The test will show your water to be hard, the solution, a BWT water softner of course.

Pervy Salmond would be delighted!
Good god, you already have one, take a look in the kettle, shiny its soft, full of white stuff it's hard (or someone hid their stash in there)

I live in West Lancashire and don't need a test kit. Our water is so hard I have to chew it...It also has the delightful taste of swimming baths water. It's like drinking from the foot bath at the local swimming pool. Phosphate is off the scale too, so I can't keep an aquarium. No amount of phosphate removal filters or chemicals will get it down to an acceptable level. It really grabs my S**T to have to pay for the garbage that comes out of my tap. Isn't it odd that food manufacturers have to list all the ingredients of their products for the healthy conscious and allergy stricken people but the water utilities companies seem to be able to pump anything they want to our homes for consumption? I'll get off my soup box now...Nuff said.
