You can go Monday to Friday every day after 2pm. You could even give the card to a friend and let them get a drink. Debenhams have never checked for me before, they only check expiry date sometimes.

How did you pay? If you did it via PayPal or Amazon Pay, then you can just cancel the recurring payment from there. If you did it by direct debit, just cancel the direct debit.

Otherwise, you can call The Telegraph on 0800 33 20 20 or email them on customerservice@telegraph.co.uk.

I cancelled recurring payment and emailed them last time I cancelled.

I didn't even spot the food festival tickets, it appears to be a generic code anyway

My local Debenhams doesn't have a Café and my next closest Café got replaced with a Costa too. I've always used in restaurants with no issues so I wouldn't be worried!
Can you get takeaway?
I tried cancelling via email and got this reply.

That's odd. I'd just cancel the recurring payment via PayPal/Amazon Pay, don't bother cancelling. I set up direct debit for an account that doesn't allow them, direct debit got rejected and membership was automatically cancelled.
Got my first free coffee today. Surprisingly straightforward. An intriguing period of time too to be subscribed (albeit temporarily) to the parallel universe that is the Torygraph.

Great! I always struggle to find live chat so thought they had stopped it
Hi @jamie15 Thanks for another great spot!
I just had the oddest thing happen, I think I had my subscription extended to an year with the veryme offer! Initially I subscribed to the 30 day trial on the 11th to take advantage of the free screening of The Current War and today I activated the VeryMe 2 months free digital access. Saying activated, I've no idea if it happened or not. After I followed the veryme 'no code needed' link there was an option for new account or existing customers so I chose the latter and logged in. That took me to an empty dead page with no acknowledgement just a 'All Digital Access 2 months' in a box to the right?! Anyhow, went to check my subscription status and the next billing date is 7/11/2020. I think they use american format as the start date is shown as 7/11/2019, it's a pity I didn't check the status before the veryme link so can be totally certain that it's the culprit.
There are 4 days left on the veryme offer so hopefully others can try and see if it works for them too

Jamie, have you checked your next billing date, if your digital card expires 2020 than maybe there is a connection. I do hope it’s because of veryme, otherwise it would probably affect a lot more accounts and will get spotted swiftly.
Back to Debenhams, do you know if it’s s free coffee a day or one per week. I can only gather that it’s a weekday offer but if it can be claimed every weekday it’s very generous indeed

It's on weekdays after 2pm. You can use it as many times a week as you want (if Debenhams staff don't recognise you, you can go twice as they only check if the card is valid, not anything else). If you take the free trial out and print the card off, card expiry is 1 year. Is that what you mean?
Thanks for that
In theory the expiry on the card should be next year only if you are in contact for a year or if it’s been paid upfront for a year, so check your next billing date as it might also be 2020

I am a paying member of Premium (from the pay £50 and get a £50 Amazon gift card deal). Unfortunately I can't get my Vodafone code to work as it won't let me proceed once I sign in.

Wow, that’s an excellent deal you’ve bagged
I too got a dead looking page once I logged in, but then went to check my subscription details and noticed the 2020 next billing date. I still haven’t cancelled my PayPal payment as I always feel awkward doing it too soon after signing up but I am not sure I can trust the 2020 date so hopefully wouldn’t forget to do it soon
Does anyone know if this offer still works?

Should be. Unfortunately Telegraph seem to have removed my genuine membership (paid for 1 year in advance and it is meant to expire in December). Now I can't double check

I went into Debenhams today. They did check my rewards number but just needed to see the expiry date on the card so I think it should still work 💳
