Hideous, overpriced, and limited battery make this seem like it was made for 2017. shame.
BTW, the design of the xl, have they taken cues from the 2 xl? Jeez it's like a throwback from the 2 xl launch.

No ultrawide and the small battery completely rules me out, telephoto or not

I know, I miss the Nexus days. The best value phone I've ever had was probably the Nexus 5. Great price, top specs mediocre camera. Now it seems like all google care about is a great camera and an expensive price tag. I can't see me switching from the Note 10+ any time soon. The only shortcomings I could find where no headphone jack and I miss the ir blaster from the view 20.

Interesting they state Currys Ebay store after the pixel 3a xl farce last time, well done Google and Currys.

I have a Google Pixel 3.
I miss my iPhone 5 :'(
Only 13 months to go...
2018, pixel 3 xl, year of the hideous notch.
2019, pixel 4, year of the hideous forehead.. oh man! why!?

Hopefully drives the Pixel 3a down, which is still an excellent all rounder.

Biggest issue with these for me in particular, is the battery sizes, yes the software is minimal and therefore less to handle, but the pixel 2 xl I had was very poor in that compartment, and it had the same software.

I've only had the original pixel which had laughable bezels, and mediocre everything else. Battery was poor also. Google could have the best phone if they actually tried again.

So they've made the huge bezel to fit in a chip (radar) that has limited function, Ridiculous

Age of RNN (really nasty notch, Pixel 3xl) is over

Tech-dense forehead more acceptable imo, function rules over form

Deal really depends on the resale value of the laptop. They can vary from aprox 200-£400 at full retail. I need to downgrade from pixel 2 XL which was to large. Standard Pixel four is loooking very tempting with a 5.7" inch screen but cant beleive that they still use 64gb as the defualt onboard storage in this day and age.

Yea it's pretty much pointless. After using the Note 10+ for a while now with practically no bezels anything with more bezel is unacceptable at the flagship price point at least.

Yea 64gb sucks at the price they are asking. Cloud storage is not the answer to everything.
Pixel 4 XL is good but overpriced with same camera hardware...wait few months and you will get all new camera software goodies which will be ported to old generation pixel ..so right now pixel 2 xl still better buy if you want to enjoy good camera and stock software with good battery

I am going on the order page but something isn’t right , pixel 4 is showing as 64gb for £669 but when it’s in basket and you have to sign in then pay its showing as 128gb ???

I have an SE as my work phone (which is basically a hybrid of the 5/6). I use it for maps and such.

Kind of resigned to the fact I have a Google phone until the end of the contract, but I probably would have sold it if it wasn't for the access to the Apple phone.

One thing that is really noticeable on the Google 3 (not sure about 4) is how little memory it has. The camera has a major lag to it and it really struggles opening/flicking through apps. My iPhone SE although a lot older, doesn't suffer with this.

64 GB = Apple-style. Most iPhonish of Androids

(Free cloud storage provided for pics/videos, anti-Apple-style)

It is needed. It houses the sensors for the gestures. Whether or not that in itself is needed is another debate I guess...
What would be the resell on a Brand New, unused Chromebook? Gotta be looking at least £200 right?

I also see this - I added a 64gb one, but it comes out as an 128gb one at the same price. I ordered one (I felt like it was about time I moved away from my iPhone), and the order history still says 128gb...38672505-j5v05.jpg

All 2016 phones had poor battery (tech moved on). That 'mediocre', iPhone clone on front design, thing still running today flawlessly on Android 10 - just like an iPhone 7, taking very good pics + don't forget the power bank

Well the HP 14 seems to sell for around £220 from most retailers, so I was hoping £200 as still sealed etc......we'll have to see.
