now this is HOTTTT

Very good deal.... just wish I could be convinced by the battery life

EDIT. just noticed its 24m... shame, still a good deal but i'm just not going there with 24m contracts.

Needs 24 months in the title. Too long!

Yep! Don't like the idea of 24 month contracts! But this deal still seems to be hot even thought!

Good deal, hot from me. I've just got the hd on orange and with a bit of setting up I can easily get over a day on single battery charge. I'm getting a similar deal from orange and free landline calls, but had to pay 30 quid for handset.

Will this be 500MB of data?

The 18 month deal works out better. It was posted last week.

Where? I can't find it? I'm after this phone myself and I'm coming up to the upgrade point of my orange contract. Going to try and blag them that I can get this for £25 on an 18month, see what they say. I've already got loyalty minutes and £8 loyalty discount from my last retention, pretty sure it carries over!

This is by redemption. The op's deal offers auto-cashback, so no headache and double the minutes to be on the safe side.

even at £30.64 per month works out £551.52 without cash back or quidco for 18 months
this works £562.74 with £50 cash back over the 24 month period. 18month works better imo but you are right i got 500 min but only use less than 300 to be honest but horses for courses.

It works out cheaper but you'll be getting six months more of minutes, texts and data.

Shame about the network though! That's the worst signal where I live!

Based on cashback with other Sim only deals I would value the line rental at around £7.50 - £10 / month. Worst case you are paying £12.50 a month for 24 months, or £300 for your Desire on interest free credit.

seeing as HTC bring out a new Desire phone every 6-8 months haveing this one for 24 is a long time. I dont get it, technology changes so quickly, yet the phone company's make longer contracts!

I've had numerous phones from Dial-a-phone and was always very happy, cash back no problem either.

Amazing phone, got it yesterday on a upgrade from 3
I had was going to leave them as they would give the HD free on anything sub £35, but at the last minute they offered - Free HTC Desire HD - 900 mix and match voice / texts per month and 1GB of Data. Normally £30, but i got it for £24 / month - 24 month contract but not bad on a upgrade. Handset is amazing, eat **** Iphone

awesome phone, worth it alone just for the droid tv app!!

Not if you take it out before 1st Feb. It will be 1gb until then.

I really dont understand the problem with a 24month contract. Do you really need to change your phone every year or 18months?
Major problem with any contract tho is if your phone is lost/stolen and you still end up paying for it for the rest of the term. But other than that situation what its matter if its 24month.

2 year contract ouch but remember you can sell the handset as soon as you receive it you don't have to keep it and then put some cash to it and get a decent phone the iPhone 4 everyones a winner

so annoying! i ordered one last night on a worse 18 month deal

Be very careful with tmobiles data plans, The current 'unlimited' 500mb data that come as standard with contracts is speed limited to 300kb download. I found this out today after signing my wife up for a 24 month iphone contract on the weekend. My android phone was d/l at 2.9 Meg and the iPhone at 0.3 Meg!

Iphone 4 is a... nice phone but trying to slip your two pence in here? You're brave.

Care to elaborate? Just got this handset myself so looking for any decent app suggestions.

Ignorance is bliss.

This is a nice deal.

I personally went for the 18-monther deal with fewer minutes but the hassle of cashback by redemption. I have not done one before but, with a two month window to return bills, only having to redeem 5 times, and being prepared to send recorded post (an extra cost of £3.70, granted) – I am chuffed to meatballs with the deal and the phone.

Total cost over 18 months = £399.90

Gr8 deal, they also do 3 months by redemption which is £75 better then £50 auto cashback if you remember your redemption dates.

I have this phone and the battery lasts about 3 days which is fine I think for a smart phone. I have obviously had to switch off/tweek a few things; I have a widget on the home screen which can enable/disable options easily.

Good phone, good price. 24m contract not for me though - but getting harder to avoid.

12 month or Sim only.

I will *never* do the 18/24 month thing. Tech shifts far too quickly.

(Still on my Hero here )

true, good deal but 24month contracts are useless, after about 10 months when the phones value goes down, youll feel as if your getting robbed lol, good deal never the less.

Oh just when I thought i'd made up my mind this deal comes along, ok my friend who works for vodaphone can get me a iphone 3g 8gb for £24 a month ( 600mins , unlimited texts , 500mb data, 24 month contract ) with his staff discount

all my friends have iphones but I read on alot of forums the htc desire hd is much better , can anyone tell me why ? never had or used a smart phone

ha ha loving the sarcasm.

how the hell is this a good deal its 24 MONTH contract after discounts = 500 quid for the term. this is not worth it for this phone. yes its an ok phone but is it really worth 250quid a year over 2 years when your not even getting unlimited texts.

ill stick with my T MOBILE Sim only offer that i got when it was on here. £7.50 a month for 600mins Unlimited texts and 3GB worth of internet. a month. then use own phone = 90 a year or 180 over 2 years giving you the option of buying a 320 pound phone to get a better deal than this with a better tariff. the HTC Desire HD is currently being sold on flebay for 320.00 but will drop value soon like new phones always do. ive done the maths you make your choice. but i personally dont think 24 month contracts are a good idea.

Not a bad deal, but you can get that on Three with 900 minutes and 5000 texts for 20 amonth (£23.75 after taking into the price for the handset.)

Its usually worthwhile checking on a comparison site
