thanks! i'm going to venice in a couple of months! printed the guide! rep + hot!

I just got back from my first trip to Italy and it was very disappointing. The people were rude, everything was a rip off, and the food was mostly just microwaved stuff cooked earlier sometimes not microwaved for long enough, I've even had better pizzas from my local Indian takeaway. I was in Florence, Rome and Sorrento along with a horrifying taxi ride through Naples. I hear Venice is nice though, should have gone north.

the site is getting hammered right now, also to note, dont try to get more than one at a time becasue the site doesnt seem to be able to handle it.

Excellent tip, thx v.much appreciated

Voted hot!! Thanks.

There are lots of guides, and it's hard to choose which is the best. The only way I can think of is to sort them by rating first before downloading them.

I have downloaded 23 copies, = £57.50
Great savings!!

Don't forget to use Wikitravel as well when you travel, it usually has better tips than these guides.

Great find though...

Excellent find, whiled away a few hours this afto, now going back for lower rated guides.....

fab find am going to amalfi shortly so will very handy

am i right to assume these guides are created by ordinary people who compile their experience?

fantastic, heat and rep to OP.
Someone should upload all these at once place..i am still downloading

Kippy, It seems to be a combination of people on holiday and DK putting the guides together, the info on most seems up to date and very useful on quite a number of guides. DK will check the content and provide the help to produce along with the maps.
Mind you for free, you have got nothing to loose, keep the ones which are detailed and you like, delete the ones you don't like.
Store them on a disk for future reference, saves the £2.50 or £10.00 cost if you went for them after 1st May.

champlad and sach
oh yeah that's what i thought, pretty good. thanks for confirming.

Keep in mind that you can also create your own guide and then download it for free with this coupon.

great stuff, thanks and heat added
