Yes, the free version has. Use the 'search' Luke...

No harm in reminding people about this as it is over a month since it was last posted, but it HAS been posted quite a few times, and it has been the free Barclays version. Here are the last three Barclays Kaspersky Deals:

No harm? It gets mentioned in EVERY SINGLE kaspersky deal thread that ever gets posted that its free with Barclay's, there really is no more need for a separate posting in freebies or anywhere else for that matter.

And exactly what harm is there in the reminder? Getting a bit overheated about this, aren't you. I suppose that you think that because you've seen several times, everyone else has. I suspect you whinge for whinging's sake. Do yourself a favour, post a comment when you have something useful to say, and not just for the sake of giving your keyboard a bashing..

been posted on a regular basis and have used for Kasper with Barclays for many years. Covers 3 laptops / tablets : good product and if your bank gives you this or a similar product USE IT.

Does this have to be a current account or can it be savings does anyone know?

Can be any account, I believe, as long as you have registered for internet banking.

Thank you for your concern but I'm quite cool here(not as cold as the other day tho)
I'm typing this on my nexus 7 so no keyboard bashing, even if I was typing on my PC I wouldn't be bashing it when I typed that reply. Again thanks for your concern but you can keep it to yourself.

Anyone who ever comes on here will have seen the kaspersky deals posted, if they've looked in any of them will have seen the 'its free with Barclay's'(or similar comment). Anyone looking for an internet suite using the search(shock horror people actually use the search, doesn't seem like it from all the spam that gets posted) will have seen the kaspersky is thread.

but this is one of the many like Spotify, ccleaner etc which some members use to justify their achievements on HUKD Hall of Fame never mind

Give the guy a break, he's trying to be helpful. Quite weird that people spend time going on a thread which doesn't have relevance to them to criticize it being posted again. The Shatner "get a life" applies. As it happens, I'm a regular here for years but have never in fact noticed this before. Whether subconsciously I ignored it because I learnt of this deal years ago who knows. But there'll always be new people who'll benefit from previously posted deals being reposted.

I'm a fairly newbie just cruising through site and just noticed it too.

Hmmm....Is it only me that worries when banks offer a free security with their product.
Does it mean that they are using something that is not secure and needs third party software to protect our money because their own is not reliable ?

....Just a thought

Still a bit miffed they don't include credit card customers as well...
Booooo!

I have been an active member for over 5 years and I haven't seen this before. Feel free to speak for yourself but you don't speak for everyone.

Thanks to the OP for making the effort; some posters get their knickers in a twist about duplicate posts, even if they are weeks apart. I would rather see a deal twice and be able to benefit from it than miss it because because the HUKD police scream "duplicate" while I am busy not refreshing the screen for new deals.

Just because you've been hiding out in your cave/under your rock for over 5years(I.e. not looked in any kaspersy deal threads or in the freebies section) doesn't mean that the vast majority of the members(new and old) haven't seen it, you don't have to be busy refreshing the screen to see this so your b.s. regarding that is useless.

BTW well done for finding something that's over 3weeks old and replying when the boat has sailed on it(I.e. others have posted the same/similar as you, you're not the only person to get a bee in your bonnet regarding my 'this is a duplicate' post), if you used the same amount of time searching kaspersky internet suite you'll see the 'this is free for Barclay's bank customers' comment posted in virtually all if not all of them.

not a massive fan of this product... I appreciate the fact that it's free but my PC performance had been dire since installing this. I have since removed it.

Don't react to the fowler troll, that's what people like that want ffs! The more we react the more vitriolic they get. I expect they don't have much going on in their life and this is a way to get noticed (albeit anonymously) and some kind of attention, even if it is negative. Anyway, here I am reacting.....

The licence key also works with the recently released 2014 version; just download from Kaspersky's website.

Sorry but posting that something is a repost/been posted numerous times/what not is trolling? OK whatever helps you sleep at night.

But if that is the case then you can label 100s of people on here trolls as we get hundreds of reposts/spams with people pointing out the fact that those are reposts spam.

I don't post to get a reaction, I simply point out something is a repost/spam/been posted numerous times, then other people get a bee in their bonnet and have a go at me about it.

So please go back into your hole and think before calling people names.

Yes, Heat from me too, was going to install the 2013 version until I read that, as it as the activation code is only for the 2012/13 versions, but did as suggested downloading the 2014 version from the website and it accepted the code. Nice one.

Rubiiiiiiish and very cold. These idiots (Barclays) offer a service but if you have a problem receiving the serial number or sometime unable to download a copy of the software then forget it. You'll be on the phone with them for an hour, transferred to many people from different department, until you get transferred to the first team you started with.

Basically they have no support team to help you with any issue encountered on this service.

Bank giving it 1 year free, what about when expires? Do you need to buy subscribtion?

Telling someone to go "back into their hole" etc is obviously OK then? I'm simply pointing out that you appear to enjoy being quite nasty when as many others have already said, this will help SOMEBODY. Some people like helping others, some like pointing out others shortcomings. It's a waste of time for you (I know you're not the only one who does it) and I just find it fascinating I suppose, that people will take the time and trouble to be so negative. I'm sorry if I offended you.

Me enjoy being nasty? You were the one who was nasty by calling me a troll, I was simply returning the favour.

All these reposts/spam or as you/others call the 'help so someone' posts simply bury the real deals/freebies so people don't see them.

Oh goodness I can't believe I am doing this, yes I was being nasty calling you a troll but I am merely pointing out that you too were nasty so it was a bit like a pot calling the kettle back. And some people wouldn't have seen the original deal but would see this one so they are helped. Users have attested to this themselves on this thread. Anyway, that's it, respond and get the last word as no doubt you will. x

Just request for a new key when you login to your Barclays account. This free service has been running for many years AFAIK

I have stopped using it though and have switched to MSE

Simply go to the same Barclays page you downloaded from and click 'Renew'.

This 2014 will be my fourth year. Unlike others I have not had any problems with the software slowing down my laptop. Maybe it only does this on slower, older machines. My laptop was brand new when I installed originally [4yrs ago with 4gig Ram/dual core i3

Jumpingphil

Barclays and security don't go together.

you can download Kaspersky internet security 2014 from Kaspersky's own website. It is safe, I have been using this for more than 100 days.
