If it's anything to do with McDonalds, it won't be about fitness and it won't be good.

    They're just offsetting their carbs.

We tried this last year but stopped because the loonies put 5-11 years all together on the pitch meaning my then 5yo lad got blasted in the face with the ball from a much bigger kid.

The organisers were frankly a bit useless about it.

Wow, seriously! That goes against everything FA related and the DNA that coaches are trained towards. There is so much of a development difference between all those ages....

Heat given, my son did this last year, free football coaching or just a kick about, either way what's not to like

Good deal, I got the email. However, nearest to me is 15 miles away and 3:30 - 4pm. City traffic at a busy finishing time.
Because of this I'm not voting either way.
If you live close, it sounds really good. (edited)

My boys did this freebie with Newport County in the community before and it was brilliant! Really well organised. Couldn't fault it. Shame not in Wales this time around.

I had same problem, for me it only worked for a child if born in 2012, needs to be a July month onwards. So if similar issue for you, maybe a bit of artistic licence with the month might help.

Strangely enough, nothing in Birmingham. They have various small/medium town/cities around Birmingham but they are far away. Would have loved to sign up the kids for this.

Good initiative: Reminds me of the fizzy drinks company years ago who will donate money for type 1 diabetes for every purchase of their sugar water.
