The trouble with (most) free Kindle books like this is that they are purely text without any illustrations (apart from the cover)
Useful for academic purposes but not particularly nice to read

Good point.

Additionally, over the decades there have been so many of these well-known free kindle books made available over and over again.

Would be good if the OPs add a note to express any distinguishing features of these famous authors, like, have or have no illustrations (these add value in reading fiction and non-fiction).
