Death is celebrated in various cultures, while we have made it a bit taboo unnecessarily. It seems a shame.

It's only scary because you are worried about what is next. Either go with faith that there is an afterlife of some sort or accept that after you die, that's it. Your brain turns off and you don't know any different.
Hi,this looks like a cheerful read, I'm sure this will help with morale whilst self isolating lol
Very depressing voted cold

Bizarre
I keep saying this, death is feared rather than celebrated: what if it is another milestone?! If you live a life worth celebrating, you will be live on long after your body has gone.

They're probably cleaner than some of the people still moving around here! STAY AT HOME PEOPLE!
An excellent book.
This is a brilliant, thought-provoking book, highly recommend.
In Ireland N or S as soon as you’re old enough about 9 on you’ll be taken to the “Wake” to say goodbye to the deceased in an open coffin which is guarded 24/7 for up to 72 hours, having on occasion to kiss them goodbye and often hearing “don’t they look well” yes... Mostly dry wakes now but I’ve been to some wet corkers, so no stranger to death and you’re there to celebrate a life as the funeral it’s the final goodbye, but in England it’s a very different type of send off and I’ve met people here in their 60/70s who’ve never seen a dead person...

Excellent book- would recommend everyone reads it once in their life. I’m a medical student and this is the only book (besides textbooks) they recommended we read as part of the course.
