Free Legoland or Sealife ticket with £20 giftcard purchase Trafford Centre (Manchester)

Found 21st Aug 2014
Purchase a £20 Trafford Centre (Manchester) giftcard inside the centre, (at the kiosk) and choose a free ticket to Trafford centre's sea life or Legoland.

Deal available til 31 Aug 2014. Ticket is valid until 31/12/2014.
Trafford Centre gift card valid for 2 years.

They will try and sell you a fancy giftcard holder for £2 just ask for a free one (plain holder).

If you plan to spend at least £20 on shopping in trafford centre, then buy yourself a gift card and use that to make purchases and receive free ticket.

I havn't read many good reviews about Sealife so please read up before deciding. I chose the legoland one.

I believe you can get multiple tickets free for each giftcard bought, but not 2 tickets for e.g.£40 on one giftcard.

Going to the trafford centre tomorrow so will give this a go. Heat added. Thanks

Which kiosk was this at please.
Do you have a leaflet or anything.
Cheers

I saw this too at the customer service counters,

Lego land is ok, but quite small,
Sealife is small

Ok so there is the main customer service kiosk near 'Sell Fridges', if you go from there towards whsmith side of the centre there's a smaller kiosk with lots of kids buggy/cars for hire I got it there.
I've updated the deal with more details.

Sorry no leaflet. But it's well advertised at the kiosks if your going there you will see it.

Perfect for my visit next week for shopping and a visit to legoland with the kids.

So I can purchase 3 seperate gift cards and get three free entry tickets into legoland and so on?

In theory yes but I don't know if they will use discretion. I should've tried it.

Worth a go, as I was going to spend 60 quid to get into Legoland next week.

There's also an offer for Trafford Centre Legoland 'Kids go free' in December but not in conjunction with this deal. Just thought I'd share. (one child free with one paying adult) kids under 2 free admittance.

I hope it works for you! They want people to go in so worth a try yes. Please let us know the result.

Untrue. I got the exact balance on the gift card as what I paid at the kiosk to purchase the gift card. i.e. £20 paid = £20 to spend on the gift card.

when you buy the new lego movie it comes with a voucher inside for a free kids ticket with purchase of an adult ticket at the lego place in Manchester or Windsor

if thats good for anyone. theres a sticker on the front of em about it

Hot from me. Well worthy of an ask.

I find the legoland & sealife centres to small, I'd never pay full price to go in, I've only been midweek when they do a parent & child under 5 I think it is for £20, the kids enjoy the lego place which is the main thing but it could do with having more stuff to look at etc

Legoland Trafford centre is small and disappointing. Sea life was much better imho. Neither are worth full price! Excellent find op

Neither will hold your attention for more than an hour, but good enough break from shopp

Great find I'll use this next week :-) I often use the buy one adult get child free with the cereal packs etc, but this is even better

which cereal packs do you find them on please share

Sealife is not worth the money, very small, but if you're spending money at the Trafford Centre, or want to get a gift for someone, and getting free tickets then it's an enjoyable 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Shame they were'nt doing this a few months ago when I ended up buying 4 adult full-price tickets. Voted hot.

I have an annual pass to the sea life and as I live near the trafford centre it's the one I go to most. Whilst it isn't as big as some sea lifes it is still well worth a visit especially for free - there's a turtle talk at the start (suitable for kids, my 3 year old loves it), you can touch animals in the rock pool and there is a water tunnel and small play centre. It gets busy on the weekends but is ok if you go early.

I've never been to Legoland Discovery Centre as my little one isn't really into it, might give it a try with this offer, I do most of my Christmas shopping at the TC anyway

Great deal that's my daughters birthday day put sorted plus she gets the gift cards as a present'
Thank you

Got 2 today - thanks OP. That's half term sorted!

just off to the TC now with my 5 year old - sounds like a great idea it'll break his day up while shopping thanks

Has anyone tried this with multiple purchases? Ie, £60 of vouchers = 3 free entries? Or is it an offer only applicable with a full paying adult etc? Great offer on the face of it. But is it too good to be true?! ;-)

Has anyone tried to buy and use multiple cards. Ie, 3x £20 entitles 3 free entries. Or do you need to be with a full paying adult, etc? Seems too good to be true!!

but yes it is one free ticket per paying adult i just looked at the tand cs

its one per transaction but the staff were more than happy putting through two transactions

We went yesterday and it's exactly as op says. Went to the kiosk they mentioned and it has a big poster advertising the deal. We are two adults and a 3yr old so they happily let us buy 3 x £20 gift cards and gave us 3 free entry tickets which worked perfect. We used one of the £20 vouchers in pizza hut, another in Legoland toy shop and another in the Trafford centre so effectively free to get in Legoland.

This deal's a no brainer but a word of warning, went down today and bought a £60 gift card and got my 3 legoland tickets. The guy at the kiosk said they'd started doing that because people were just going back for another £20 gift are over and over again.

However, got to legoland at 10.50 to be told there was a 2 1/2 hour wait for people who haven't pre-booked because of a problem with their tills. People in the 'pay at the door' till we're being encouraged to pre-book on their smart phone as the pre-book queue was shorter and was being cleared before the other one could get started. So effectively, if we'd have stayed, we'd have been in a queue with everyone who had vouchers or free tickets while the other queue got bigger and bigger!

We've got the tickets tho and can go back any time before 31st December, so still a great deal if you plan to spend money in the Trafford centre, but our experience today was enough to put me off lego for life:D:D
