site looks a little dodgy

site looks a little dodgy

I can see what you mean.

Usually, Procter and Gamble use this site for giving out freebies: http://www.pgeveryday.com/tag/product-samples-offers

Also, the site registrar details aren't the same ones that P&G normally use (and are still awaiting validation).

It doesn't necessarily mean that this site is dodgy, but it is a bit odd. Still, people on this site don't really seem to care much for privacy and security when there's a chance of getting free stuff

It is registered by Procter & Gamble though so think it's alright.

who.is/who….uk

Worth a bash. It doesn't ask for email address or full dob, as most scam sites would be more interested in...

all gone

Have just requested my sample successfully thank you very much. So why expired?

Please unexpire. It is still working!

yep back up so get ordering

I agree... the spelling and grammar on the confirmation page was a bit of a warning

Thanks queen0f26, hot

Congratulation!!!

As opposed to CongratulationS?! Lol, oh well see what happens

bizzare that they dont ask for house number, just street name... all looks odd to me

Super ta x

I think site very dodgy street name but no house number must think postmen mind reader's lol

How is it going to be delivered if they don`t ask for house number?!!

How would they know what house to post it to without your house number seems dodgy to me x

Just got mine as well now, wonder why they told me all gone ??

Congratulation!!!

I just put my house number in the same line. ;/

Me too.

Yeah.. me too

Yep, unless there was a seperate house number field I would expect to put my house number is the street box.

For goodness sake, if you don't trust the link, don't apply. But don't make snide comment about those that do, thanks. It seems glaringly obvious that the way for them to get the product to you, is to put your street number in the "street" box. Use a specific email just for freebies and put a fake year of birth in.

*shakes head*

Thanks OP

Thank you!

Thanks for posting, this has been advertised across many similar sites.

I've never given any of the sample people my real name anyway, so not too fussed, especially because it doesn't ask for a phone number, so worst case I'll get some junk mail addressed to Mr.P.Eenis, which will therefore be a giveaway.

They are both ultimately Corporation Service Company, but you're right to highlight any concern. In this case, I wouldn't worry but don't let the others put you off - I think better to warn people if you have a valid concern than let fellow hukders potentially give details to spammers/fraudsters. though, the advice to use fake info as a matter of course isn't a bad one.

Thanks, but I'd never listen to anyone that would try and put me off anyway; I've worked in network security for a very long time, so I absolutely value my opinion over that of any 'anonymous' forum-goers with regards to such things

that's the USA site

The site has just been thrown up as a quickie to give away samples and drum up interest in it. They need to do this with the price of these if your buying a full bottle at RRP of £5. It is in tesco just now for £3 with £2 off but the rrp is a joke so give away some samples so people will get to try otherwise i doubt many would buy it at rrp as a spontaneous purchase.

since when has major corporations not been iffy ? heat added

Forms been altered now.......it now asks for the house number!

Great

I am sure there is a typo in your name, should it be P. Ennies.....

I just filled in and read the T&C there are 75000 samples to be sent out, plenty

How would they guess your realname for the junk mail like that if you gave them false information?
