The total contract price isn't £732 though. It's £1090 regardless if you get the extras.

Well...when you 2 for £10 cocktails you tend to say each is a fiver...I've applied a similar logic here
If you purchased the watch and headphones your total cost would be a lot more than 1090, but since they are free their value is rolled into the contract cost
wish it was possible to get this as a pay as you go offer, i'd be happy to buy from three then.
cold can buy the phone brand new for 325.99

How can you deduct the retails prices of the free gifts from that example ?
By doing so it's no difference then just buying these gifts outright, which makes them not free ?

CREATIVE ACCOUNTANT!
any lg g6 users? your reviews on the phone?
Cold. Misleading title (at a glance).
Also not a great deal as false value of watch and headphones and contract as part of a bundle. In other words, the overall value is not the same as the sum of the parts. Or something.
is this with any plan or only that one ??
Hey folks.....

I've just gone through this claim process & oooohhh boy is it long winded & a pain in the arse.

LG make you jump through all kinds of hoops to get this regardless of whether you're paying for it in your contract or not. It's beyond a joke.

If I can offer some advice & that is to not give up & be persistent. After all if you take the deal these gift/purchases are YOURS

Firstly BUY THE PHONE OVER THE PHONE...........NOT IN STORE

Then when making your claim ensure the following details are in a headed letter, in PDF format for you to upload to LG's claim site-

PURCHASE DATE (not contract date)

MODEL NAME OF PHONE & IEIM NUMBER

PURCHASE HISTORY NUMBER/ORDER NUMBER

THREE's LOGO, ADDRESS & CONTACT NUMBER

When you call Three to ask for this letter you're probably going to speak to some clown in India who will fob you off with a very limp version of what you're after. See below image of exactly what you need & how it should look.

I raised a complaint & the UK team drafted me up a letter straight away. Worth noting I'd also been into my local Three store & they were useless to say the least. Guy there even claimed he had no way to email communicate or phone in with head office!!!!

Anyway.........Not getting these details correct will result in LG rejecting your claim then slapping a 7 day time limit on your original claim which if you can't meet they will then invalidate it outright & you loose all right to claim your gifts/purchases.

Shocking behaviour.

After 3 days of phone calls & then raising it to complaint status it's all worked out. Im a stickler for getting what's mine & I'm patient enough to deal with this type of stuff but I realise not everybody is so I hope this makes it very easy for anybody else going after this promotion.

Good luck & let me know how you've gotten on.

Ohh & the phone itself is brilliant. A way under appreciated Android device which was completely overshadowed by the Galaxy S8's arrival.

This phone is a brilliant all rounder with an amazing camera set up. Waterproof, drop proof. Expandable memory. Amazing screen & battery life. Its as good as the S8, cameras way better but does suffer a little in low light. It just doesn't have that cutting edge design like the Samsung or the most recent chipset.

None of this matters as it handles amazingly well & Im yet to see any slowdown at all after pushing it hard with intensive apps running simultaneously.

I'd recommend this device to anybody. Wont be dissapointed.

Tonnes of videos on youtube from pro reviewers saying that after months of usage they still love it.

Waterproof, drop proof.

Don't actually drop it though; for reasons I'll omit here, my G6 didn't have a case on when it slid off a table, landed flat on the floor screen-side down, and impacted against a piece of grit or something similar - this has left a crack from left side to right side, and there's an obvious mark where it hit. Luckily it still works fine, but I'll have to claim on the insurance for another one; not a great start. Don't let that put you off though!

As for this claims process, remember to check your junk emails for replies from LG, and remember to keep the delivery note that accompanied the phone when it was delivered, as this will list the item, IMEI and order date - if you send your contract start letter as received through the post, it won't be accepted as the contract start date doesn't match the order date. I found this thread after submitting the details, so I'm hoping this will be accepted - just waiting on a reply from them now. Luckily I came across the email before the 7 calendar days expired.

I'll also back up the experiences above about the customer services team in India, who will just send a plain-text email (not a letter-headed PDF) with the same information as the postal letter, and will take days to do this - useless in this situation. Store staff didn't want to know, as the upgrade took place over the phone.

While somewhat unrelated, the whole upgrade process with Three has been a pain in the arse; Three had placed a "security marker" on my account following the data / upgrades breach in November 2016, and nobody was prepared to just tell me that this was what it was regarding - I ended up making a complaint in order to find this out. It caused all sorts of problems; again I'll leave the details out to keep things shorter, but overall it took 4 attempts to get the upgrade done, and they still haven't processed the discounted ETF correctly...
