Many thanks and keep the heat coming :-)

This webinar meets 11 times. You are expected to attend all 11 sessions.

Why does the exam have to be an integral part of the course? Any other PRINCE2 course will be prepping you for the same PRINCE2 exam(s), why would this one be any different?

You can register and do the exam later (you have to pay for the exam) ! This is still a very good offer as it is better than trying to read and understand the material on the book on your own.

If you've ever taken a PRINCE2 course you would understand that it's all about getting that piece of paper (or in reality online confirmation) having sat the exams (foundation and practitioner) to say you're PRINCE2 qualified. Nobody ever says, "Well at least I took the course..." In reality unless you're taking a course where the exam is an integral part of it (as most PRINCE2 courses are) I have my doubts whether you would pass.

I'm currently doing the CCNA security and is fairly good for being a free course.

Highly recommended, though I wouldn't touck Prince myself (as not my cup of tea)

Cheers for this - is the assessment with this or is it just the course content and then you'll need to pay for the assessment for it to be accredited?

Presuming that this is the full practitioner course, luckily already got mine and doesn't run out for four and half years. Good find though as it's anywhere from £1000+ for a weeks course.

if i register but then can't make it to the online classes, theres no forfeit fee, is there?

again, like a few people here, disappointed no qualification given, but it'll be interesting to see the content and if I want to take it further, i'll have been given a good grounding on the topic.

You also need to factor in the books cost (£100 or so) if you plan to take the exam, as one of the exams (practition if I remember right ) is open book but you really need to have lots of sticky tabs on it to navigate it quickly, as the exam is quite intense in terms of what it covers in for the time you get and you don't want to waste time looking for chapters..

Free is good. CCNA course that Joe ran was extremely good. All comes down to how well the instructor & material is. Couldn't take to the CCNA Security training, even though it's something that was of great interest.

I was also very impressed with the quality of the CCNA, certainly didn't begrudge paying for the materials and recordings. I'm on the security course now; it's a very different beast to the vanilla CCNA but still greatly interesting. What about it didn't you like? Forgive my curiosity, I don't mind if you'd rather not say.

Couldn't read the screens when he was typing & he was going far too fast. This was the first couple of nights. I started having broadband issues the 2nd night, so with all the niggles I gave up & cancelled my place. I'd planned on buying the material, but decided against it as I wasn't blown away by the teaching. Maybe I'll be lucky & Joe teaches next time. That guy has a god given talent for teaching!

Course Title: Prince 2 Real world Approach to Project Management
Duration of the Course: 14 sessions
    Free Sessions: 11 sessions
    Invite only Sessions: 3 sessions (7, 9 and 10)
    Duration of each Session: 90mins

Sessions 7, 9 and 10 may well turn out to be very important and key to getting the full benefit out of this course, hence they are charging for these sesions. They will lose the peoples interest if they carry on with these methods. They should give you the option to buy the material after the whole 14 sessions should you need it. They are trying to put you over a barrel. I have heard of others who signed upto this course and then latter cancelled it as there was not much point in only getting part of the course for free.

This is i believe the first time they are running this Prince course, i have been receiving notifications of all their free courses since they started them last October, (I have been a classroom student of theirs and they are always posting stuff on their facebook page) so i find it hard to understand when you say "I have heard of others who signed upto this course and then latter cancelled it as there was not much point in only getting part of the course for free"

I do believe you are very confused.

Joe took the time last year to give me private one to one lessons on BGP in his own time at his own expense for which i managed to land a job, i am in his debt for the assistance he provided with no questions asked.
