At British Gas we are committed to helping you save energy and money. That's why for a limited period we're offering to install loft and cavity wall insulation for free.[1] Insulating your home will help keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in the summer, helping to save you money on your energy bills year after year. This offer is open to existing British Gas customers and new British Gas energy customers.

What you could save?
Type Savings in £ Savings in CO2

What does it involve?

It’s straightforward and takes less than a day. Loft insulation is a thick material simply rolled onto the loft floor. Cavity wall insulation is filling blown into the gap between your exterior wall. There’s little fuss or mess so you can get on with your daily routine.

How do I qualify for free[1] home insulation?

Just give us a call and we’ll arrange for an Energy Expert to come around to your home and carry out a free no obligation survey. All you have to do is set aside time for us to do the work.

You do know theres a hidden fee charged in the bills right? My brother had his done and they disagreed so he took them to the financial ombudsman because they were taking money from him which it should be free. Now my friend works for the biggest insulation company in the uk right now called the MARK GROUP who do 7000 house holds per week and are international and for cavity wall insulation use a material from germany which is waterproof and they give a 25 YEAR GUARANTEE!

,,,is this loft insulation the stuff where you can forget about ever using your loft for storage etc. when you get it in because it's so thick?

Doesn't cavity wall insulation cause damp problems?
