London Transport Museum

London Transport Museum explores the story of London and its transport system over the last 200 years, highlighting the powerful link between transport and the growth of modern London, culture and society since 1800. The museum includes over 450,000 items, including an impressive collection of over 100,000 photos documenting the changing face of the city - preserving, researching and acquiring objects to use in our galleries, exhibitions and other activities.

Friday 27 March – We’re staying open late

We’re kicking off the celebrations early on Friday evening and we’re staying open later than normal from 18:30 – 21:00. Thanks, booked. Didn't realise you had to pay but passed this a few times and have been curious. If I remember correctly this is really close to Chinatown, surprised some people haven't commented yet

So it’s only for one day 27th ?incant use it after that any day?
Many thanks.. means a lot to us
So it's only the last 2 1/2 hours free not the whole day to celebrate? Erm.....good deal I guess
I thinks it’s all gone
All gone
Anyway away from mass events as latest corona virus update
Still on sale
Nope not working...
Its good for free but my goodness, charging 16 pounds for the limited range in there is ridiculous. London is the wrong place to build a Transport Museum, the words put together earn a sardonic sneer, let alone that the Covent Garden floorspace doesnt do a museum justice.

Go free on Lottery week in November is my advice. Or go to Brooklands, 3 time the value. Or even Coventry Transport Museum for free any day, much bigger!

Its the corner of covent garden and if you live in London with small children the Transport museum is a bargain at £16, the ticket is for a year and children are free.
Dont get me wrong once youve been there 20 times its extremely boring bu the kids still love it and theres always different craft activities on.
Just in case anyone missed the email, this event has been cancelled.
