"We" is Natures Best", a commercial company it seems producing a form of this product, the ad seems to imply the BBC endorses it or the value of this product, which I`m pretty sure they would not. It seems the doctor does. But doctors seem to be free to recommend anything nowadays!

How many tablets have sample?

You will probably find that Dr Moseley hasn't recommended any particular brand instead, the company looks to be doing what the ASA has ruled against two Facebook adverts regarding claiming Martin Lewis has endorsed them.

Ad doesn't imply the BBC endorses it! The Dr was simply on BBC

I would take the dosage recommended on the bottle (as long as it complies with the RDA) and not listen to a random person on the internet.

Yup - you can do what you like.

A more enjoyable way of hitting your magnesium quota for the day is by eating chocolate that contains 85% cocoa.
