I bought this deal instore today and thought it was great. When you spend £15 you receive this free complimentary gift worth £31 which includes 4x full size products;

. False Lash Effect mascara
. Colour Elixir Lipstick in Cherry Kiss
. Glossfinity in Raspberry Blush
. Wild Shadow Pot in Golden Amazon

You can also take advantage of this deal online and until December 23rd you can receive free instore click and collect.

I picked this up for my daughter for Xmas, bought the concealer & foundation. Came to 17 pound and had the free gift. 2 pound off max factor was already loaded onto my boots card so that reduced it to 15. Then used a 150 points off 15 quid spend coupon. Seems that if a offer is loaded on the card then you can use a threshold coupon alongside it. Bargain as foundation, concealer, lipstick, blusher, mascara and nail varnish total spend 15 quid x

They are completely different deals as they involve different brands.

No they are basically the same spend £15 on this and you get that free etc in the same retailer ( BOOTS ).

13 minutes difference between them. I quick search or scan would have allowed you just to add your "content" to the original deal.

So its Chilly cold plus a tin of SPAM

So should all supermarket's buy one get one free offers be put in the same post/thread by those standards?

I posted the other deal, this deal is (in my opinion) a separate deal. Different brands, different selection of items in the free gift. Not spam, both hot.

its spam

Thanks for posting.

I'm very tempted, thanks for posting.

They are completely different brands offering completely different free products and Max Factor and Bourjois are not the same thing thats like saying and Xbox One deal is the same as a PS4 deal because they are both games consoles oO

But on the other hand

What? If someone was not interested in the product you posted then they would miss the other deal if it was added to the content and not as a separate deal...

Took advantage of this few weeks ago as I really wanted the max factor mascara and this egged me on to spend £5 more just for the free gift!

I had a few like 200 points on 20 pound spend etc. I found if a offer was loaded onto card through the app I could use the coupons alongside so have acquired quite a few points ready for the January sales. Thanks for posting - I'm not interested in Bourjois makeup so didn't even open that post. I use Max Factor mascara though so opened this one and am pleased with the deal. So not spam in my opinion!

what colour was the mascara please?

I got this and gave it away to a friend's daughter, I didn't look closely but I think the mascara was black. Sorry can't be more specific and the picture on the Boots' website doesn't seem to give details of the contents beyond their names.

The mascara is black brown colour

I spent 10 on max factor concealer and the adviser did not tell me about this !!! I still have the receipt ...can I do anything like return then buy again but spend 15 ???

Take your receipt in if they didn't tell you, and just make a complaint to a store manager. You have to physically scan the goods through the till, and the box they're in shows at zero value, so they'll be able to tell you didn't get a free gift.

Very doubtful you'll be able to return - they generally have a no-returns policy on makeup for hygiene reasons, although Superdrug have let me swap things in the past.

FYI - I don't think this 'free gift' is all that great, the mascara colour could have been black, rather than black-brown - who ever buys this?!

Same with the eyeshadow.. Nasty gold colour instead of a nice neutral that would suit more people...

Polish was nice mind, and the lipstick is okay if you don't mind wearing blood red!

I misread the above haha.. Didn't realise you only spent £10....!

Cheers for the info scorchinghot ... What I was hoping to do is spend another £5 and receive the offer... As I was unaware ... I know this is my own fault for being unaware and they do not have to honour any deal to me ... But is it worth a ask ?? Or will I just look silly and desperate ... Lol
