lol, thats not a deal........should say free virus with every pc

I'm afraid that is not a deal - that is how McAfee have 2 million+ subscribers, LOL

The better alternatives are: Use a free one like AVG, AVAST etc (search google or download.com for free anti-virus) or use Microsoft Anti-virus (yes, surprisingly free) or better still if you bank with someone like Barclays, they give free Kaspersky Internet Security suite (upto 3 licenses for PC's/laptops at home) which is excellent and yours truly is using it!

i used mcafee and i dont get any problems at all.
And i have many friends using things like avg and all i ever seem to have to be doing is removing viruses from their computers. i think free alternatives from the internet are definatly NOT the way forward.

Mcaffe isnt perfect, using malwarebytes anti-malware removal tool i found 5 trojans on my computer but then antivirus systems find it hard to detect trojans because they are disguised as legitimate programmes and thefore i would hate to see how many trojans a pc running AVG would have, i think it would be a funny result.

ill stand by mcaffe as a professional anti-virus programme that works well with windows 7 without issues and there are many ways such as through banks and laptop stores to get a free subscription, i got it free with my dell. the database is updated daily for threats and doest use up all system resources. ive tried norton which is good but can be resource heavy. when i have to renew i may give kaspersky a go
