It doesn't register I've entered the restaurant and there's no button to say 'I'm here'. All my location services are on and working so it's not that. Each time I've had to cancel the order and they've put it through on the till.
I have stopped trying now. All I get from McDonald's when I complain by email is a copy and paste reply. Not good.

Yay finally there!- This would be a good deal if the app actually works, it tells me my local 24 hour restaurant is close. I have uninstalled it and reinstalled it but doesn't fix the problem that way for at least a month despite informing McDonald's customer service who just send a cut and paste email reply thanking me for reporting it.

1. To be eligible to receive this offer (an "Eligible Customer"), you must:

c. have downloaded, registered, signed-in and opted in to receive offers via, the McDonald's app from 05:00am on 3rd April 2019 until 11:59pm on 30th June 2019.
2. Offer comprises of one free regular McCafé Hot Drink per Eligible Customer only when ordered via the "Deals" section of the McDonald's app by clicking on the button describing this offer in that section and by placing your order for the selected item at a participating McDonald's Restaurant between 05:00am on 3rd April 2019 and 11:59pm on 30th June 2019 inclusive following which the order may be collected the same day at that participating restaurant.
