Posted 1st Dec 2019Available: London

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Includes breakfast food which is a first for five guys. Just turn up and get - no voucher or anything needed. Nothing stopping you going back multiple times throughout the day.

"To celebrate the opening of its new restaurant, Five Guys is giving away complimentary meals on Monday 9 December.

The deal is available at the St Paul’s venue, which is the 100th site from the fast food chain, and customers can pop in to grab grub from the early morning until late evening.

Swing by between 8am to 10.30am if you fancy trying the brand’s new breakfast sandwich, stuffed with eggs and bacon.

Or, if you’d rather wait for meaty goodness, pop in anytime from 10.30am to 11pm and make your very own burger with all the extras your heart desires: ham, pickles, cheese, bacon or even just go plain, if that’s your jam."

It’s a shame they don’t do more for the homeless rather than this gimmicky …It’s a shame they don’t do more for the homeless rather than this gimmicky nonsense. Especially this time of year

I guess their target audience for 10 quid burgers aren't homeless people

very average food. All the hype, little in the way of taste or quality
Nice, close to my office but I can see those queues now...

Where did you see this? Seems too good to be true due to the very nature that five guys is costly?

‘Nothing stopping you going back multiple times throughout the day.’

Nothing except for the mile long queue each time you visit. They take ages to serve you here in the UK even at full price wait times are long. Very quick in the USA and a lot cheaper. Great burgers though.

They have In'n'Out in America which are vastly superior. Cheaper, healthier and just plain better.
@jamie15@AW0079 Sure you've both already seen this??

Will try that next time I’m there. BTW my favourite burger here is by Miller & Carter, they do a great cheese and bacon burger meal and of course it’s a superior dining experience to any 5 guys. But as it’s free and if the queue is reasonable then this is a great spot by OwlEye.
I have a 5Guys due to open near me too but given its location (shopping centre) Doubt they will offer this but we'll see

Because they don't have any money for next time.
Veggie option?
Its bang in the middle of the city with thousands of offices with hundreds of thousands of people in them, you will still be queuing this time next year.

I'd have to make a special trip, and given how busy it will be I won't even try. There are too many freebies now, I have to write this all down

Ah what a deal! Long queues likely
anyone have the address for the new store
Our lass is well up for trying Five Guys, she’ll be devastated when she finds out it’s a burger joint.
This sounds to be good to true! They will probably run out of food in the afternoon, but worth a try! Thanks OP

Your local branch must serve very different food from mine.

I think if you avoid the lunchtime period then it shouldn't be too bad.

Likewise,I've been to the bars in the CIty and Canary Wharf in the afternoon and it's not that busy.
Once it's @6pm ish however and they get packed, hard to find a seat!!

They serve complimentary peanuts.

I think it's tasty but damn it's not £15 tasty for a basic burger, fries and drink.
Favourite fast food.

Heat for this free meal.

But amen, £15 for a basic fast food burger meal is crackers !
Dread to think what these queues will be like!

Agreed, theyre always delicious and not in any way comparable to other fast food burger joints in the UK
Lol just set a reminder

You know it, lol think I prefer to pay!

Their veggie sandwiches are lush (though not quite as messy / tasty as their 'all the way' burger)

Yep, I tried Five Guys recently (over £40 for 3 burgers, 3 drinks and a fries to share) and it was ‘Meh’ at best. Not for me, the fries were that salty they ended up being binned. 🤢🤮
Wish this was Halal! Yummm
kingsbury_chris02/12/2019 10:48

They serve complimentary peanuts.

...But the cigarette machine is bang out of order?

(I didn't take off my coat. Bye)

Agreed, no better than a McD big tasty but way more expensive, same goes for Byron. GBK are a bit better, but the best 'proper' burgers I've tasted have been from gastro pubs.
