When was the last time you felt refreshed and quenched your thirst after drinking the brown sugar water?

Probably the last time I mixed it with equal quantities of vodka....

Large Coke costs them 3p ... They sell it for £1.49... Cheeseburger costs …Large Coke costs them 3p ... They sell it for £1.49... Cheeseburger costs 17p to make sell it for 99p mcD's have some huge profits margins

The ingredients might cost 17p but there is the cost of the person to cook the burger, another person to hand it to you, the lighting in the restaurant, the energy to cook the burger, the paper its wrapped in, the napkins you take, cost of operating toilets in the restaurant. and 20% VAT to HMRC.

Can’t find it in the app? Voucher wallet empty and promotions just lists all their burgers?

I'll also add

.Equipment maintenance and repair cost
.Monthly rent on the premises
.Service fees for the use of the McDonald's system
.Contribution to the national marketing spend

You could say the same about any other restaurant! Huge markups, but hey it's called a business...

You think that fancy £12 burger is more than £3 worth of meat?

McDonald's HQ are a real estate company, that's where they make the money.

The franchise units only really benefit if they have two or more outlets. Large initial financial outlay think £750,000 plus.

Coke are really pushing this sugar free stuff. Is it in anticipation of sugar tax? Or artificial sweeteners are cheaper so more profit?

Exactly after the time I drank some Coke Zero? Which is sugar free I might add.

Love how food deals bring out the people who tell us all that things don’t taste good to us too. Like we’re all so stupid that we can’t even work out what tastes good to us without the connoisseurs of food dictating to us.

Heat added Op. Will pic mine up after doing the food shop. (It is across the road after all. )

Coca Cola are continuing with the full sugar variety but are reducing the bottle sizes down to 1.5L and increasing the price to pay for the tax.

Corporation tax, my mistake, they're American, they seemingly don't need to pay....

Get to a Five Guys! Literally the best drink machine period.
Does this offer apply to full fat coke too? I don't like the poisons contained in the diet versions...

Many thanks..

Probably because people will be able to combine these two deals

Get various McDonald's meal deals for £1.99, usually better than half price

hotukdeals.com/dea…193

So you can get a free coke with your £1.99 burger and chips

Nope.

Excludes all other drinks.
Heat added but rather typical that my local closed for refurbishment for 5 weeks on Sunday!
For such a huge company, I wouldn't expect them to release such a POS app!!
