Along with Microsoft learning path I also watched Tim Warners YouTube videos which covered all topics, was a great help. Also bought whizlabs test questions for a couple of quid, their site had a 50% sale not sure if it's still on. really handy
This post (for those who are ignorant, like me) is about administering Azure, which is M$'s cloud based computer service (briefly)

Why does that link get mangled by tradedoubler (hukd) referral cruft - i realise that it works on a domain - but really every link to microsoft? - think of us guys who are blocking trackers ;-)

Is the voucher to spend on MS store/Xbox?

No, only to take their exams.

Wasn't too tricky. If you search for az900 fundamentals there's a Microsoft learning path. I think it indicates the learning path is about 9 hrs of self directed learning. Best of luck

You realise that this site gets it's money from the trackers? It shouldn't matter if you are signed onto a domain or not
You need to use a blocker that blocks in a more subtle way
Did the az900 course, never got the email about the promised free exam. Any ideas? Do I have to ask? Thought it was automatic after a few days.

I have booked mine. You should have revived an email to a portal view point to book the exam and claim you voucher.
Thank you

its not just blocking ads, its preventing companies from harvesting your data. not sure why you would want to be subtle about this.

Seems there are some issues with it, if you post on trainingsupport.microsoft.com/en-us with your event ID they should catchup
Is the free Microsoft Certification Exam voucher only for the one given exam (can I use it against another exam I wonder)
HEAT! Will use this to climb the next rung up the Azure exam ladder... 🙏🔥

Of course, thats why i put the winky at the end
jasee17/09/2020 08:58

You are correct, it shouldn't matter - and i am not signed in to the domain - the blocker checks if i am being tracked, not if i am signed in
jasee17/09/2020 08:58

You need to use a blocker that blocks in a more subtle way

Subtlety is not a pre-requisite for a blocker - blocking, however is. The blocker blocks, it works well

It wasn't a serious request - i know how the site makes money, and i choose to use tracking blockers, i fully realise that when i use this site i will be blocked on many links and have to manually get to the site - thats the game we play.

Yes, probably, the intenetion is, I believe, to get 'paid per click' and also maybe a small proportion of the price if you buy
So install an ap that blocks it more subley

go on then.... which subtle blocker do you recommend?

y'see, i ask because i am wondering if you are conflating ad-blocker with a tracking blocker? Some such as uBlock origin will do both - but many adblocks will block ads, but if you click the link above:

clkuk.tradedoubler.com/cli…my/

that is not being blocked, so yeah, its 'subtle' - a tracking-blocker will however stop you, which is what I want
Thanks

Well if you've got one that works, I can't see the problem.
Personally I also use Hostman to block ads, it's sort of primitive but versatile
Thanks, I've been trying to convince my employer to pay for my DA-100 course, now I don't need to

It's an exam voucher not money
thanks
