Got mine this morning. Seems they literally just press a couple of buttons on the till, they don't type in the code, so don't see why they need to see the live countdown.

It does if you have nice staff. Some staff insist on seeing the countdown. Normally in WH Smith Travel shops.

Any idea if this will work on self service? I'll just take a screenshot thenT&C's say no.- 10 minutes for the code is a bit of a joke. My smiths doesn't always have staff on the counter and it's either option a) Deffo confirm code availability once mini eggs in hand but risk code timer expiry finding staff to complete purchase at checkout. b) Wait to confirm code until at checkout, staff available to complete purchase no persons in front but risk 'codes all gone' message, lolsI've had it where they said they wanted to see me physically press the redeem now button so wouldn't let me have them! Complete lottery whether you get a jobsworth or not.

Another useless reward for NI residents! No Morrisons here so all those codes pointless, and WHSmith is only in the airports after check-in.
