Found 16th Nov 2010Made hot 17th Nov 2010
Included in Meal Deal £2.99

Our hats are knitted by knitters up and down the country. They send us their hats between August and October and we then count them all up before handpacking them onto our little bottles. They are then sent off to store, and will be available to buy in Boots and Sainsbury’s stores across the UK for 3 weeks from the 3rd November.

For every behatted bottle sold, 25p is donated to Age UK

May come in handy for the forthcoming cold weather - but not quite decided which extremity to use it on.

LOL a dick hat

luv it! X

Meal deal goes up to £3.29 from next week oO

can't stand that innocent stuff...give me coke any day!

Well, someone had to say it

Sainsbury's are selling them with little hats as well.

Maybe useful for a boiled egg or for the use Traxxas suggested...if you have one that is.

Sainsburys also has them on offer, 2 for £?

No idea how it's been made hot though, the size of these drinks for the price is ridiculous!

How pointless and wasteful.

they make awesome cat toys!

plus the drink is alright, helps with your 5 a day malarky

25p goes to Age UK. Whats pointless and wasteful about that?

It helps with your 5 a day!

The Boots meal deal is a hot deal itself, my choice is:
an innocent smoothie
chicken sandwich (triple ie chicken & bacon, chicken salad, chicken & stuffing)
big bag of malteasers
All in, I reckon should cost about a fiver outside of the deal which is £2.99.
Still great price at £3.29
Though my local store's supply of the big malteaser bags is disappearing

This charity would love the hats if any of you buy these and don't need them - lisasstars.org.uk/

The hats are pointless and wasteful. Plus you can get 1L for £2 quite often, £1.80 for a small bottle is ridiculous. I don't get what is hot about this deal.

If people don't want to waste them then they could send to the charity I linked to above, they would be very greatful for them as they are an ideal size for very premature babies (who are often left naked as the hospitals have nothing for them)

Facebook page is facebook.com/per…ent!/pages/Lisas-Stars/159738440713941

Don't see the point in the hats at all. Complete waste of time. Most will just end up in the bin. Pointless gimmick.

It would be much more sensible for innocent to simply donate them directly to this worthwhile cause. Seems a completely pointless and wasteful concept to me, having them on the smoothies in the shop.

The hat is minute, now way it'd fit a kid surely? it barely goes over a large boiled egg......

Unless of course Tom Thumb has been reborn?

Not a kid, a very premature baby. The hospitals don't have clothes for these babies and often they are put in medical trays with only sheets of tissue to cover them as the founder of the charity discovered when she lost her fifth baby.

The description of them being in medical trays with tissue covering them is a little harsh - they're in warmed incubation units with usually just a hat. If its big enough for a boiled egg it would have to be an extremely premature child probably 24-28 weeks.

Im talking about stillborn babies (born before 24 weeks) not babies recieving care in SCBU

Nice to know there is another supporter on here

surley its not hygenic to give a prem baby a hat that has been round a fruit bottle and handled by god knows who. look at the fridge shelves next time you are in sainsburys, god knows when they were last cleaned properley

They are for stillborn/late miscarriages - fully formed babies but just very tiny - they hospitals don't have clothes for them so these hats would be greatfully recieved so that other parents don't have to see their children left naked.

Cute..
