Sky are offering a free trial of Sky Go Extra to existing TV customers (usually £5 per month). If you visit the site via quidco, you will earn £18 cashback for starting the free trial.

I did this yesterday and my cashback tracked this morning.

No annual contract - you can cancel anytime. To avoid paying anything at all give notice to cancel your free trial at least 31 days before month 3 begins.

Yes. It's for existing customers trialling the enhanced Sky Go functionality.

Hmm will this tie me in for another 12 months?

Nice one..

No. It doesn't affect your existing contract in anyway. If you don't want SkyGo extra just cancel before the 3rd month begins.

Tried it and will see

It keeps coming up "free with Sky multiscreen" and then gives me the T&C stating 12 month contract

Sky Go Extra 2 months free trial: Offer only for existing Sky TV customers who have not previously taken up the same offer. Excludes existing Sky Go Extra and Multiscreen customers. Content depends on your Sky TV package. Sky Movies Pack required for movies. Download selected content in the UK via Wi-Fi. After 2 months you will continue to receive Sky Go Extra at £5pm extra unless you call us to cancel at least 31 days before the end of the 2 month period.

Great! The more you buy, the less you get...

Given it a try thanks op
The exclusion of multi room is because they get sky go extra free anyway.
I have tried the quidco thing even tho I have multi room, ill let you know if it tracks back

FREE MONEY BOOOOOO! Wont go down well with HUKDers

Right, found this.

Sky Go Extra 2 months free trial: Offer only for existing Sky TV customers who have not previously taken up the same offer. Excludes existing Sky Go Extra and Multiscreen customers. Content depends on your Sky TV package. Sky Movies Pack required for movies. Download selected content in the UK and Ireland via Wi-Fi. After 2 months you will continue to receive Sky Go Extra at £5pm extra unless you call us to cancel at least 31 days before the end of the 2 month period.

So you need to call at the end of the FIRST month at least to get it free.

Will this be easy to cancel after the 2 months?

You need to cancel at least 31 days before the end of your second month of trial.

You can hardly take a free trial of a service you already get!

Just need to remember to cancel in a month's time now! Thanks OP...found another offer whilst online....too bone idle to post tho...if you have Sky sports, sign up for free for Sky Sports 5 and get 2 years free unlimited broadband.... happy days all around today!

how do you work that out?
sounds like you can cancel after day 1?

Multiroom customers don't get SKY GO EXTRA as standard, they get SKY GO. They have to upgrade to SKY GO EXTRA allbeit for free but with a 12 month contract - and no free trials. No thanks...

I waitied over a year for my TCB CB from Sky, you will get it but it wont be quick, good deal!!!

Same for me too, saying its now free and not £5 per month...so don't need a free trial but activating it on my account may lead to a 12 month contract as thee is nothing to cancel under trial terms.
My contract with offers is up in Feb 2015 so I'm going to give this a miss

I might have to give this a try..

I tried it. You seem to have to have Sky TV already. I'm a Sky customer but only for the broadband. So when I tried it out and logged in, it picked up on the fact that I would need a sky box etc so there was a cost attached to it. Thanks anyway

Thanks for telling me this, i found £25 in my quid-co account.
Must of been there months!

fantastic!
Now where is that Cancel Page , so I can bookmark it for 1 months time?

I've just done it, but the activity isn't even showing on my Quidco?

I think you need to sign up for another 12 months.

Are you sure about this one?

On Quidco right now the deal is there, but doesn't say £18, or any other amount, unlike the other deals which all list the money amount next to the deal. Just says "Get 2 months free with Sky Go Extra. Download content via WiFi to mobiles, laptops & selected tablets to watch later, even without a connection (Terms and conditions)".

Same for me when I look on there
Get 2 months free with Sky Go Extra. Download content via WiFi to mobiles, laptops & selected tablets to watch later, even without a connection (Terms and conditions) nothing above it for cashback

Will this trial affect any discounts you have already on your Sky TV subscription? Thanks.

It will track.... But by the time they come to confirm (normally several months later) you wont be on SKYGO... Hence I believe the cashback payout WONT be made!!

Am I missing something?

Strange, I just looked and quidco has
"Expires in a day, for existing Sky customers upgrading to Sky Go Extra, Exclusive rate £18"
but no mention of the deal you see. So, with your offer seems it's just 2 months free with no cashback, with this it's £18 if you upgrade (so may not as eligible towards cashback)

For anyone without quidco, TCB are offering £10.50, but this is definitely against the free trial. I know they offer a cashback price match guarantee - has anyone tried it?

Just been given this link on Sky's live chat. Cancel or 6 Months half price: sky.com/sky…ve/

£10 for this on topcashback … £10 for this on topcashback http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/2-months-free-sky-go-extra-upgrade-10-topcashback-1986499

Topcashback seem to say they will match quidco here:

Cashback Guarantee Not Offered Yes! If you find a better rate elsewhere then we'll match it!

Tried. lets see if cashback tracks back.

So, they took the free streaming functionality the Xbox 360 has had for years and years using SKY GO, bundled it into this SKY GO EXTRA and start charging 5 quid a month...

Sky can do one.
