Dino I know but that is fast becoming the norm
The entire idea of cashbacks is so people forget and they make money, I manage 2 contracts from BMP and they do pay, so it's the people forgetting and not planning their cashback that are subcidising my cashback in essence.

Those terms are no worse than the likes of TheMobileOutlet and Coolnewmobile both of who;s reputation is not as good as BMP and have multiple deals here on HUKD.

I have loads of contracts, too many in fact. The MSOL's group give you 30 days, CarphoneWarehouse give you 60 days to submit a claim.

Not denying others give you more notice, but others don't give you as good deals, BMP/TMO/CNM are unmatched really.

But nevermind, you killed this deal quite dead when u pressed cold
Wonder if you did the same for ALL other 14/day limit cashback deals that have been posted (many by duckmagic)

There have been 4 major cold votes on it schizoboy unfortunately... I'll warm it up a little.

Thanks emma

Several retailers do 14days on cashbacks, doesn't make them evil, only just a bit more expoiting by increasing the odds people will forget, which in turn subsidises the people who remember, exactly the same model CPW use etc, just not as biased and so not as good deals.

If you miss out on the first claim and thus missing out on all the others, is it still a 'hot' deal? IMO, no because you are stuck for 18 months.
It was not only me that voted 'cold', maybe other posters agreed with me, did you think of that?

Original Poster

But you lent weight to that trend :P

I'll agree that condition is harsh, and most don't have that, but I'm pretty certain BMP is not the only retailer to do that, people can google for themselves to see, not my job to do so.

I deal with 2 contracts with BMP personally and was able to get the 1st claim in, so don't get what the big deal is, if people plan their cashbacks it's not a problem.

People who forget are screwed admitedly, but then they're incompetence is subsidising their good offers.

If it was such a 'hot' deal how come I'm the only one to comment?
If other posters agreed with you, they would say so by commenting or voting 'hot'.

So no comments doesn't make this good?
Not imo.

Feel free to flame all of these too btw:

Have you finished having a go at me for commenting?
I made a valid post based on the evidence supplied and voted as I saw fit.
Deal with it and get over it.

I have to say I would never go for this. All you need to do is go on holiday, or have a problem with the bill arriving... or simply forget for a few days. No way would I want to risk it.

But thanks ;O)
