Free movies on Bookworm Wednesdays @ Showcase Cinemas for kids in school holidays

Bookworm Wednesdays is an exciting summer reading programme designed to encourage our young patrons to read during the summer months. Every Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. beginning July 21st - August 18th, just bring a book report with you to one of the participating Showcase Cinemas to enjoy the selected Bookworm Wednesdays films and that's your price of admission.

Each week the participating cinemas randomly select one child's book report from all entries received. That child will win a pair of movie passes for themselves and every child in their classroom. Additionally, every week TEN children's book reports will be drawn from all submissions and each child will win a merchandise prize pack to be handed out that day. At the end of the five-week programme, one grand prizewinner will win a year of movie passes for themselves and a friend.

Love the idea - shame about the lack of locations (and good movies :giggle:)

I know I'm gutted, we go to this every year but Teesside doesn't seem to be included in the list of cinemas any more :?

The films are dire, so old..... Shame because previous years have been better. I love the idea though and the prizes are great. Think we will be sticking to the Odeon kids club this year.
