Where would I start im lost? (BTW I definitely need it to "update" by cv skills, and make me more appealing to employers...

I am glad you want to further your skills this will definitely help you.

From the link it should take you to page where there are 10 exercises to complete

Using Configuration Manager 2007 to Perform Your Most Common and Critical … Using Configuration Manager 2007 to Perform Your Most Common and Critical Desktop Management Tasks

for e.g. the 1st one is

Operating System Deployment which has one article and three video. Once you have done that try the Lab in which they get you to follow a step by step instruction. These should be simple for evev a non IT to follow.

The lessons and lab should work in all OP with internet access.

Try it good luck.

If you meant the MS will issue you a certificate for doing the courses in the OP link then no. This is just a help in gaining the certification If you have already tried it you will have experienced that it does teach you good practical skills. You will still have to take an exam to gain certification so you can put it on CV. But time and time again I've seen that when you start a job and you see an opportunity where you can show your skill in a project you can jump at the chance. Then you can put your commercial experiences on the CV this will help you progress. So with no money spent you can still show employers your capabilities.

FYI The link give more info on how to gain the certifications

You can do the courses without an account but if you create it in

microsoftvirtualacademy

You can earn points which you can download the progress charts. I don't know how much it might help with employers but you have learnt the skills. Also the online experts can help you to move along. I think MS is trying to get IT professional or starter to gain the skills. I think it's great.

I hope it helps.
