it does look like the Lakes, i don't know where it is - it didn't say - but it looked so peaceful and lovely i used it - its from this page - nationaltrust.org.uk/mai…htm
Great deal, thanks!
The weather forecast is looking good for this weekend (in England).
Excellent find, enjoy the glorious Indian summer this weekend and get out and about!!
Just looked at this in the RT, and to be clear, it is only valid this weekend (Sat and Sun 1st and 2nd October)
Took out a National Trust family membership last year. Succeeded in dragging our daughters to one stuffy old house, whereupon they announce 'never again'! Apart from the (wasted) cost of the NT membership, I was then pressured into spending a further £80 or so taking them to Thorpe Park, as compensation for the trauma of subjecting them to an NT visit.

Not sure if we're crap parents or if modern society is to blame.

Can you visit more than one venue with the pass this weekend or do you have to hand it in at the first place ??

Something for the weekend...;)........have some heat.
It's on page 50 of the 1-7 October issue of the RT, delivered to me today.

Its valid for 1st and 2nd October only.

Not all properties are included: list of participating properties is at nationaltrust.org.uk/rad…mes
Whilst it is a good deal, they used to do free weekends at the start and end of the "season" for all.
The Beatles' Childhood Homes better book it if you want to go
Sutton Hoo here we come! (with a picnic X))

Thanks LucerysMum!
My wife keeps on about this 'outside' thing, whatever that is. I am told that I may now have to experience it. Thanks, I think.:p

Brilliant deal, just what was needed for this weekend! I'll be getting a copy shortly.
Heat added.Very Good, got the family ticket with quidco a couple of months ago and have been to loads of places. I got young kids that love visiting these places....usually have some children type activities there.

Sounds like my childhood experiences growing up in the early 90s. My parents would take me to stately homes and it was boring as sin. Unless your kids love watching the Antique's Roadshow then it is foolish to think that some house full of antique rugs and vases is going to sustain their interest.
thanks off to get my copy now

Then again it could teach them a little about the history of their country?

Could also be taken from about a third of the way up the Miners track heading towards the top of Snowdon.

Not in my Tesco - cold from me!
Only joking!
Good way to spend an afternoon not in front of the TV.
I think I'll take the kids to Mountstewart - the grounds not the house! Did try that with them once and they offended the guide by being childish.
So 2 Adults, how many kids?
