Free Nectar Treat - Adventure or Pamper!

Found 13th Sep 2007Made hot 13th Sep 2007
Free 'treat' from Nectar "as a special 'thank you' for collecting points" - aaah, aren't they lovely.

Slightly confusing as the website tells you to ring the 'treat team' and then if you ring them out of hours it tells you the easiest way to book your treat is on the website...

Free treats (allegedly) are:

Adventure:
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Day Out
Family Portrait
Golf Lesson
Kitesurfing
Paintballing
Power Boating
Round of Golf
Sphering / Zorbing
Stadium Tour
Wakeboarding
White Water Rafting

Pamper:
Acupressure
Back Massage
Facial
Gym Pass
Indian Head Massage
Manicure
Pedicure
Personal Trainer
Reflexology
Reiki
Sports Massage
Tanning Session

Why does this silly site head up it's web pages with nonsensical sentences such as:

"Your just because we want to say thank you free treat "
&
"The munch your way to a happy ending free popcorn"

whats the catch?

That's what I don't understand...ring them tomorrow..

Sounds good Will probably go for the family portrait

i would probably go for the indian head massage! any one willing to do it now??:whistling:

Think this offer may only be available if you got sent the leaflet as when I phoned she said that my post code was coming up wrong.

From MSE there is a new webiste, where you can actually see what the treats are all about

nectar-treats.com/

Thanks to Sonate for the link

Oh, and you can redeem it online

Doesnt show you a list of participating venues, so not sure what to go for

Click on the thing you are interested in, and click venues. This only works for the adventure treats though

The pamper treat says "You'll automatically receive an email within 7 days containing a voucher and an allocated venue near you. If we've been unable to find your chosen treat near to your home, we'll send you an alternative that we're sure you'll enjoy! "

Thanks, the one I am interested in is the family portrait which is in the adventure part, but doesnt tell you the venue

Well I have just gone for the family portrait. Fingers crossed I can use it at the really posh studio I have used before.
The only difficult bit is not spending heaps on all the lovely photos they take!

Excellent, I have just ordered my voucher for Paintballing, my son has been nagging to go for ages and there are lots of venues near us cant wait !

I may be a bit daft but I can't see any free treats apart from a free bag of popcorn at Vue!
Is there a specific link on your Nectar page/did you get an email?

I've just been on the website and signed up. I received the voucher by email within 5 mins telling me the place to call and make appointment.

Got my email for the family portrait within minutes of filling in form. Looks like it is a small independent photogropher about 15 miles from me.

OK clicked the link and works now but theres apparently an issue with the website, so called them and the lady said its best to do it online!

She also said you can't specify the event, the closest is automatically applied and you are sent a voucher to that unknown event, so you will find where you're going when you get it through the post!

Oh well it is free ;-)

Well thats me filled it out and waiting for a email voucher, make sure when you put in your postcode that you dont leave any gaps

Thanks! About time Nectar gave something back

Now, just trying to decide what to treat myself to!

my mum hadnt had a "treat pack" through the post, but i've managed to sign up, and recieved the voucher for a reiki treatment (couldnt believe my luck when i saw this as apparently it is good for reducing some of the pain of fibromyalgia but i could never afford it) and the practitioner is only a 10min drive away, which is excellent!

ive gone for the day out ...... at the british lawnmower musuem:giggle:

no, not really, as intresting as that sounds, i think i will go for the family picture!

As well as free entry, the voucher also entitles customers to all necessary equipment and insurance. Paintballs are not included and will need to be purchased on the day (average of 400-600 paintballs used per session).

I think the whole point of this is that its all for one person, so they are banking on people turning up with friends and spending extra money.

I registered but haven't had an email yet. I'm having problems phoning them to find out what's going on ... I get a prerecorded message then the line goes silent. Has anybody else phoned and had this problem?

Or, does anybody have an email address for them that they will answer, please?

thanks
