Or a sharp pointy thing, a bit of imagination and a kettle.

It says a voucher, so if received can be used in Tesco for any products!

Correct! Since it's not a supermarket specific coupon it can be used on anything in tesco (I know because I work there!)

How would you use a voucher towards anything though if the voucher says 16 capsules?

Do you scan in the value of the capsules and deduct it off whatever the customer is trying to buy with it?

I know "20p off Hienz beans" or something will work, because theres an actual value to work with, as opposed to "2 free cans of beans"

thanks!!

Either, when scanning the voucher it will just subtract the value of the box of 16 capsules (remember it's a boxed set) or it'll ask the cashier to enter the value of the coupon which is given on the back (maximum value)

If a voucher's barcode starts with 99 it is not product specific and the till sees it as cash!

Tesco will take anything though, as it keeps you out of rival stores.

Thanks for the pub quiz material though :-D might come in handy one day

Well they shouldn't, we've just had a reminder as to Tesco's policy on coupons and it says that this is fine, though you still can only use 1 coupon if you haven't bought the item.

Has anyone tried to use these in a Nespresso Machine?

Worked for me cheers

Just to let you know, at 'my' tesco these cost £2.99 so the voucher would be of that value.

Really? Well our local store (and other people on forum have said the same) wont accept them now unless you have the item....of course it all depends on who is serving....

Erm, the UK's number 1 grocer admitting to fraud?

Are you sure?

I'm not sure about fraud, but yes, they printed out the company policy on coupons (couple of A4 sheets) for all the staff to read on a bulletin board and I made a point of reading them as there's a number of times where we've been told to not accept certain coupons/amounts of coupons.

In fact the only coupons that Tesco cannot take (as far as I know) are those designed for other stores that have no minimum spend: i.e. we can take "£5 off £50 spend at Sainsbury's" coupons but not regular Sainsbury's coupons (they work but we're not supposed to take them).

Also if we don't stock an item we can't take the coupon (again it occasionally works but we're not supposed to).

Thanks, worked a treat!

worked for me thanks I love this coffe machine

Just registered, and vouchers on their way, thanks!

thank you

cheers. all worked no probs. hope it arrives.

Heat and rep added.

Can't say enough about how impressed I am with my Nescafe Dolce Gusto purchase...

Not only does it come with sample pods like all other coffee machines but they also throw in free Latte glass and Cappuccino cup/saucer. I registered my details on-line and was sent a voucher for a free box of 16 pods. They then asked me to take part in an on-line survey for which I was rewarded with a set of two Cappuccino cups/saucers.

The other week they sent me a sample (four pods) for their latest drink, Cappuccino Ice.

Wish more companies were like them after you've shelled out ya hard earned cash on their products!

Cheekster.

Then contact Tesco Head office and complain. Individual stores or even staff members can't make up their own policy.

Thanks

I guess the follow up to this is where do i get the cheapest dolce machine to put them in.

best i found was £74.99 from empiredirect.
