Free Nespresso Coffee and Biscuit @ Nespresso

This is in Edinburgh but check out your local Nespresso store as I have been told it is the same in most boutiques. Should be national (and international)

In the boutiques they have a tasting area where you can try all their coffees. I actually use and buy Nespresso coffee but go in most days when I am free and stay for two or three! Really good coffee and the biscuits are good too.

Most stores will ask you to produce your membership club details to get free drinks and a Biccies.

I've just bought a Nespresso machine and have to admit not got it set up yet but from what I've heard and read these nespresso stores are supposed to offer free samples to everyone who enters the store. The whole point of the store is to either convince potential new customers to invest and to convince existing customers to buy more of their varieties.
To as for nespresso club details before offering free samples is stupid as it's alienating potential new customers. If you see this is actually happening in any nespresso store it should be reported to their head office via the nespresso website along with the store location and employees names if possible as head office will most likely come down on it like a ton of bricks for loosing potential customers.

The Nespresso stores would be more interesting & useful if they were in more than just four cities in the UK.

I go to the Edinburgh store and have to say the staff have always been fantastic really nice people and really friendly. I know its their job but doesn't mean people actually are.

Also they are genuinely knowledgable about coffee. I spent a good 15 mins chatting to cracking Irish lad in Edinburgh about different coffees and brewing methods not just nespresso which was just so nice to know that they genuinely enjoy the product they sell.

I mean the wage to work in a nespresso shop ain't amazing and the guys deserve more but hey ho all round great wee place. I am the first to berate a company for bad service but I will share a good service 10x over because we all know where gives poor service but we tend to keep good service to ourselves. I think everyone should know the good guys and maybe they would be rewarded for it.

This happened in June at their Flagship London store, quite up themselves TBH. However they did let us sample and have a bicci. While we were having ours another couple asked and they said NO!

However Manchester Trafford center was the opposite, couldn't do enough.

Trafford centre always make us a coffee small or large service is fab! Free brew although always buy the pods whilst there. :-)

Cannes staff think they're working in Gucci! Most of them anyway. Some are very pleasant and helpful. So they should be when you see you're paying something like €70 per kg.
Malongo capsules for Nespresso machines are pretty good and we've filled capsules with various coffees but have to admit the genuine Nespresso ones are best. Sadly the Nespresso store in Cannes is in a very awkward place for parking.
I'm told Lidl are good but I'm not sure they're available in France. Seems they're half the price of Nespresso where they are available. The price difference on other brands isn't anything like enough to make me change from the original

I know the lad you mean! He was the first person to ever serve me in there and he is fantastic.

The pay isn't actually awful, but it isn't great. I got a job offer from there (in Edinburgh) before getting a job offer from a big-four accountancy firm. Was a tougher decision than you might think!
