Free Nespresso Spare Parts

Found 9th Mar 2015
I have been advised by somebody in store (and tried it myself) that Nespresso have a policy of replacing spare parts for free. So far I have had a lid and whisks for the milk attachment, so I am not sure what they would give away and what would you pay for.

Basically if you are missing a part or it is broken it is worth giving Nespresso a ring/tweet to tell them and it might save you buying a spare part!

If anybody else has had success please comment.

I have recently had a new aerocino sent to me for free because I phone up to say it was overheating. New one sent out next day as machine was still in 3 year warranty

thats useful to know thanx.

Thanks I'll give it a go just bought one last month

my machine is from 2004 and still running do u think they will replace parts if they go faulty

thinking of getting a nespresso. How would you say it compares to a espresso maker like the delonghi ones for about £80? Coffee as good? price similar? it obviously looks a lot more convenient

I replaced my Lavazza Modo Mio Favolo+ with the Nespresso Citiz & Milk and I've never looked back, with nearly THIRTY different blends (including single origin & decaffeinated) on offer, there's a coffee for every minute of the day.

If you're near a "boutique" you can try all the coffees for FREE before you buy,...there's ever free biscuits to go with it.

What's not to love!

I invested in a bean to cup machine. More expensive initial investment, but assuming even 1 cup of coffee per day it is paid for itself in under a year - and that is using freshly roasted beans which can't be replicated with nespresso (nespresso coffee will be roasted and ground possibly months ago by the time you come to drink it). Each to their own of course, with nespresso you can change coffees easier as the poster above pointed out.

Thanks for this btw OP, the in-laws have a nespresso machine.

Yeah - I have both - in the office when I'm in a rush, the Nespresso serves me well.

My U Mat machine broke down yesterday. Phoned up, was given a free temporary machine whilst my one is whisked for repairs, and all done within 24 hours. I have to say, Nespresso customers service is excellent!

Is there a dedicated Nespresso UK Twitter account, can see every other country except UK? want to report fault and I've not had much success over phone (milk burning/drying on bottom of aeroccino)

Just tweet in their Nespresso global site.

I wish mine would overheat - it never seems to get the milk hot enough for me!

I suppose if your machine breaks then you'll stop buying coffee...
