This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Email only deal for those with an existing Nest Aware Subscription - click the link to redeem.

Note the Twitter backlash due to an original email being sent out before the promotion was activated - Google sent out a second email to state that the promotion was now activate - get if able before stock runs out!

EDIT: Appears may only be applicable to those who have transferred to the "newer Google" Nest Aware and not the 1st gen subscriptions.

The link just takes me to the main google home device page? I’m an existing nest subscriber but can’t see an option to get a free device

You have to use the "Redeem now" link which you will have received by email this morning if eligible for the deal. If not then get onto Google Support Live Chat and discuss why you haven't yet received it.
Thanks
Well my account is set up in hotmail. Got no idea how to get this . Do you need the nest aware subscription to be £50 ?
So apparently you have to have migrated your account to Google (from Nest) and availed of the annual subscription....

I'm worried that this is a way for them to push everyone to migrate and maybe jack up the prices for a google nest aware subscription? Any thoughts?
Is it too late for me to sign up now and get the offer? Also, is there a minimum subscription period? I’m thinking ‘Google Nest Hub for £5’...

Edit: just seen the previous post - only valid on annual subscriptions?

Hello, is this only for the charcole model?
Just been on Google live chat. Just to clarify.
It is only for annual subscriptions and not monthly payments.

I'm on the chat with google now
I am a nest aware subscriber but not on the New nest aware plan.

You have to be on the new one for the offer

Thanks for clarifying.
only works on the grey nest hub if you're having issues. my code didn't work yesterday, got a follow-up @ 4am. I must use twitter more code would not work on the chalk nest hub.

and yes, it appears to only be for those on the old plan who have already migrated to the new one (I'm on the £100 plan).

the offer run's until July so those who migrate now may still get the email/offer if you ask?

It is code based as well (the offer that is)

I have treid to upgrade from £5 a month to £50 a year annual...bakc on the chatr again.
Slightly misleading in op post. Doesn’t include existing users on nest aware 1st gen plans just checked
I'm not a Nest subscriber at all yet. So if I sign up to the annual plan, will I receive the redemption link?

Hi,so if you sign up today for the nest aware £50.00 deal today you will get this?
Thanks

Appears so at present but worth discussing in LiveChat as a previous post appears to suggest all Nest Aware subscriptions will soon get the offer.

Thanks! I’ll give the online chat a go!
I think everyone needs to be careful with this... If your on the nest aware Gen 1 (the 24/7 recording) with one camera (ie the hello) you can't avail of this offer. What's more you can avail of the offer if you migrate and change your subscription to the Gen 2 plan which removes 24/7 recording... Just watch out. This seems like a way to move more people across to migrating their account and onto the new subscriptions...

I just checked in with live chat. Being a totally new subscriber will only provide a free Nest Mini (after waiting for a redemption link). Not the Nest Hub.
There is no grace period either for the Nest Aware subscription. So you cannot buy it and then cancel after a few days/weeks

That's a good point. Now 24/7 recording on he latest plans unless you pay £10 a month, cant seem to find the annual price.

Hi, thanks for the info, nest mini are on offer quite cheap these days so not really enough for me to get the annual subscription . would have been worth it for the nest hub.
Shame thanks for your help

The change in subscription actually lowered the prices. I'm sure it's 50 a year or 100 depending on the package. This now covers all cameras and doorbells in your house instead of paying for each camera separately.
Won't be cheaper if you've only one camera now though.
Works out for me as I have 5.

the £100 a year plan gives you 24/7 recording for 10 days...something to be aware of is if you don't have solid fibre broadband, 24/7 uploading will kill your internet @ home. Saved me a fortune on my setup and I only had 5 days on a couple of cameras to save money (was £40 per each camera per year) and it was £80 (per camera) for 10 day recording.

If you haven't actively transferred recently to a new subscription then it will be a 1st gen subscription.
