Same. I've only been on this contract 6 months. Submitted the form last week and got my NUC code within about 2 hours for free!

All Free now, Before It was Free only If you had your Contract for over 12 Months or It would cost you £19.99.

But as off the 1st July It's Free for All Contracts over 3 Months Old.

I never received a email stating this
Is there a link for this?
Same here with payg. Email shortly afterwards doing they couldn't collect £19.99. Phoned customer services who put if through only for me to get the same email. Direct email to Vodafone just gets standard reply.

Very shabby Vodafone.
What if I bought a used phone that was previously on contract with vodafone? I just got one off ebay that has just finished its contract.. any way i would be able to request the unlock or does the original owner have to?

did you still get the code?
I upgraded to a new sim only deal with Vodafone and as part of my package i got Spotify free for 12 months. Since the upgrade 3 months ago it has charged me £9.99 per month so i have to call them monthly to get a refund. Their customer service has to be up there with the worst.
Hi xxxxx xxxxx,

We recently tried to collect payment for your network unlock code (NUC), but there wasn't enough credit on your account. Remember, it costs £19.99 to get your NUC.

What you need to do next

First, make sure you have at least £19.99 in your account, then fill in our online form again. It can take a few days for us to collect payment, so keep an eye on your credit balance.

Thanks,

Vodafone Customer Services Team

charming off to ebay and get it

I'm still waiting for phone to arrive, the z5 compact from a previous post. will post when/if it arrives.
I have a sim only deal with Voda which I've had on going for some years, but recently bought the z5 compact on Pay as you go... can I get that unlocked for free?
