Mine was to be dispatched On 13th and 16th and it still hasn’t. I finally managed to speak to someone at Nintendo and they are hoping to dispatch by Fri. Said the issue was courier they use couldn’t keep up with the demand of deliveries so they purposely put a large
amount of their stock out of stock to allow them to ensure that they can meet the orders that have already been placed.
I’ve been assured that everyone who has already placed an order will receive theirs before Christmas

They'll be stiffing all their Zavvi and Iwoot customers to get the next day stuff out for Nintendo. I know I'm still waiting 10 days later for my stuff from the Zavvi flash sale to be dispatched, as are a great many others if Trust Pilot is anything to go by.

Mine was dispatched on 16th and has been delayed with courier! It's a switch, and kids main present! - Everything crossed that it turns up but I'm really not hopeful. Myhermes (our courier is generally really good!) ask me to contact retailer, Nintendo say they're trying to track it!

Did you receive a tracking number? I was told once dispatched you'd receive one. Still waiting for mine to be dispatched was promised Friday. We will see...
Was told would be posted Thursday for next day delivery, still no change, they were I my waiting for the Mario wheel. Terrible communication.

just an update i had to cancel my order as now they say it will be delivered week after xmas, which is totally unacceptable, so ive cancelled and ordered from currys being delivered tomorrow.
Shame on you Nintendo, should not be giving despatch dates when you clearly cannot keep to them. Cut off on a chat session just now when the conversation clearly wasn't finished and still no answers as to whether the switch will be despatched in time or not, appalling service and very misleading.
Does anybody know where I can get hold of a switch, wheel, case and mario kart 8 at a reasonable price please?

Yes I have tracking number! It says attempted delivery Sunday, delayed Monday! Said it would be on the move in 48 hours but still nothing! They're not in a hurry to sort it, feeling a bit gutted for my kids!

I got mine from Currys without the case thou. for around £380 with mario kart and deluxe and 2 wheels.being delivered tomorrow.

Looks like you got further than I did. I cancelled my order today as they could not guarantee before Xmas. And was most likely delivered week after Xmas. Shocking service.

Yes I have just reserved one at Currys but going to be out of pocket if Nintendo don't deliver the goods.
Cancelled my order in the end as they couldn’t/wouldn’t commit even though they said would have it today originally. Sent them a complaint over service now but won’t see anything out of it plus my 10% voucher has been used and not re-activated. Was hoping better from them directly

Just to advise mine has not even been dispatched yet. Absolutely disgusting service and looks like we are not alone. Just go onto the Nintendo UK FB page and just read all the comments. It’s absolutely disgusting. I placed my order on Friday 13th December for next day delivery. They took the money from my bank account. I’ve sent loads of emails and raised queries on my account just to get the same bog standard response of “sorry your item has not yet been dispatched, we are hoping to dispatch as soon as possible”. I then phoned customer service and pressed option two for those who have ordered goods online only to be hit with an automated message saying nobody was available to answer my call and instead I could visit the website and look at the most frequently asked questions. I’ve checked online and there are a ton of forums which customers let down. I can’t believe a company as big as Nintendo would do this to their customers. It’s absolutely appalling. One thing is for sure is that I’ll never buy anything from the Nintendo store again. I’ve had to go out and buy a new console and games as I don’t hold much hope of this being delivered in time for Christmas. Look at the unnecessary stress this has caused customers. For buying a Nintendo, who would think that Nintendo themselves would be the ones to let customers down. Imagine the hundreds if not thousands of kids going to be let down. Also what about the parents with very little money who have saved all year to buy their child the console and they are left in limbo with no money refunded and they can’t afford to fork out another £300 or £400. I actually can’t believe it. Should be on the tv show watchdog after this

Agreed!! I'm going to get another console Monday of it doesn't turn up - can't really afford it! Especially as I'm not sure where I stand if it's not delivered! Don't know who will take the blame! Nintendo or Hermes! Nightmare!

I have now received an email to say my console will be delivered on Monday 23rd or Tuesday 24th lol. I’m hoping it does.
