Free next day delivery (normally £5) @ Currys / PCWorld

This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

Popup appeared on Currys homepage offering free next day delivery using code 600223500002128. Not sure how long the offer lasts.

EDIT

After reading the comments it does seem to be a unique one-off code. After having another look this morning popups appear at random throughout the site. I got one another popup for 10% off headphones (which I used for some new Sony buds). Not sure if that could be used against other items though.

The offer does seem random and requires some patience and browsing though. Sorry about that.

As for their customer service, it's a difficult time for all companies just now and Currys do seem to struggle a bit with call centre. Took me an hour and a half to get through to them yesterday morning but got there in the end. Had no real issues with delivery but next day really isn't next day so not sure it's worth the fiver.

Theres still the same dented, used fridge in my kitchen 2 months after Currys delivered my supposedly "new" fridge. Try calling their customer service if you want to see for yourself.

Was shocked to read that there are many of us in the same situation and it's been reported to the government. There's also apparently been people have not had their item delivered but Currys says it has been.

Quite a lot of talk on whether they are closing down, no idea whether that's true.

Anyway, I can only share my own experience and then rest you can read for yourself. I've ordered from them before in the past and it was not like this.

Please proceed at your own risk, just wanted to give a heads up.

Won't go into detail but can confirm that we have also had a horrendous experience recently with Curry's. I'm sure 99% of orders are fine but if there's a problem with yours then good luck sorting it! A quick look at their social media pages shows just how many people they are screwing over every day.
about time they offer this across all websites that have retail spaces as no one is able to go to buy small things.
free next day , over 1 month trying to contact them without success to return my DOA TV (lower side has no backlight )

How to use this voucher?
We had bad experience as well. We had bought a printer online to be delivered, which broken down in few months. It was web order so they asked us to post them back to check for supposedly WARRANTY.

Since then never bought off from them and DEFINITELY do not feel bad if we use them as "showroom" for online stores.

We ordered a laptop and a week later found out it wouldn't charge. Waited an hour and a half to speak to returns team but they've sorted it out quite efficiently so far but still waiting on replacement product so time will tell
I am also currently going through the process of trying to get my refund for an item returned on 24th April. 7 attempts at the online chat, two 2 hour long phone calls, each of which I was put on indefinite hold once connected ending with me ending the call. In addition a lengthly message via the team knowhow on twitter who apologised, took my details and never heard from them again. Appalling customer service
I called them and was told to hold the line, before they immediately put the phone down on me
Bugger. Just bought a new keyboard for the kids too 🙊
3 hours on the phone to get a price match. Wasn't worth my time. Good luck with getting support should you need it...
Don't you just hate it when you waited ages to be put through to a human being, then gets hanged up, either by them accidentally or by them when you raise your voice just a little because you are getting no where with them being able to help with your problem with "their" product.
I recenrly bought a 32 inch 1440p monitot and was pleasabtly surprised. Used to amazon delivery and it came next day dpd tracked. Of course not tried to return anything and sure that is harder! I could not get through to price match on phone. But libgering on tbeir site gave a pop up. I chatted to someone there but they wouldn't prife match their 5pc off deal on currys ebay!
I’m currently trying to return an item... 5 phone calls attempted hung up on 4 times give up on the 5th looks like I’m keeping it

It's not the person on the other ends product. They only work for said people who owns the product.
Furthermore if they're late for your call they're most likely was late for the last, with the last person possibly giving an earful.
As much as you believe you're wasting alot of time (which I don't doubt at all and yes it is frustrating), the person you talking to probably started his/her day 4-5 hrs ago and had people releasing their anger during that time.
Sucks to be them, if you don't like it then take heed and don't buy from them again. Nothing to do with said customer service team (most of the time).

Or they are employed to provide a service, which they are sadly failing to provide.

the majority of them are now working from home on company supplied cheap laptops, using their own internet to access a system that was never meant to be accessed from outside of the designated call centres.
got a few friends who work at a local store who are now answering the phones and they've told me that the system keeps dropping out and the company service desk is located in india who are also under lockdown and operating a skeleton staff.

dsg arent going under anytime soon, but they are struggling with being a (currently) online only retailer.
once the stores open, its going to be for collections only at first.

so please, for the sake of peoples mental health, don't go to the stores once they open and start kicking off.
most of the staff there have either been on furlough or working from home with minimal training on the system.

also, apparently they are under instructions to terminate calls if the caller starts raising their voice, being aggressive etc.
so yeah...

They terminated 4 calls before I spoke to someone no chance to get aggressive.... also if they are having trouble with the volume they should be limiting the amount of sales a day

i agree but, yknow, greed. it clouds the sensible mind
Don’t know if this still works, but I found that if you apply the free delivery code, and then swap to standard free delivery, it takes the £5 off the item price! Happy Shopping!
Partner bought Animal Crossing from them at the beginning of May with next day delivery, still has not arrived, over two hours on phone to contact them, she asked about her order as the tracking number was still saying DPD have not received the item 2 weeks from dispatch, the response from the customer service was "well if you want a refund you will need to return the item".

Eventually the customer service worked out that she still not received the item and said an investigation would be opened...Nothing still and it is now nearly June. No email either about any case being opened and still no game.
Have £1 left on my account from coupon leftovers, can't decide what to buy as Curry's prices are bloated to begin with.
I had a delayed order, so called 2 minutes before their phone lines opened and hungup/redialled until it went through. I then waited about 10 minutes to speak to a rep.

Worth a go !
we bought a freezer from them a couple of months ago and because of the pandemic it took 3 weeks to come but it state this when i made the order. it did eventually turn up and was fine. their delivery van broke down just before they got to us and so they had to move the freezer to another van when that came. however when they delivered the freezer, they did not remove the packaging before bringing it into the house as they claim the pandemic no longer allows them to remove packaging.

they also only put the freezer inside the door and you have to carry it yourself to the kitchen. it was a big freezer so it was a struggle to unpack it ourselves and move it to the kitchen. luckily we were able to do so, but a lot of peolple would have been shafted if a large kitchen appliance was left unpacked in their hall way!

i have ordered from currys quite a few times over the years for kitchen appliances and they have always been decent and provided good value. never had any issue with their customer service before the pandemic but not had to call them during the lockdown so can't comment.
The world has truly gone mad when saving £5 on a bleedin' Currys delivery is a hot deal. Says a lot about the state of the nation's finances that people are that desperate!
Completely shocking after sales service.

Purchased a 50 inch TV from Curry's eBay early May.

Tried to initiate a return only to find they ignored my numerous messages over a two week period.

After leaving negative feedback I then got a reply giving me a number to the KnowHow customer services.

First call attempt I was on hold for 70 minutes only to be hung up on after I said I wanted to return a brand new tv !!!

Attempt two I was on hold for 150 minutes, only to be told they can't access my order for some reason...they then gave me a number to ring, the number turned out to be eBay's customer support

Completely shocking...all good until you need to return an item then a COMPLETE NIGHTMARE

experiencing the same thing trying to return my TV
Good deal since it's next day and a lot of online retailers are slower and charge for delivery.
Just a Shame this thread has turned into more of a moan or customer service issue-fest rather than about the deal
Can't believe the most liked comment is someone who is moaning because they have a dent in their fridge. A dent does not render the fridge inoperable. If you order something during a public health crisis when the shops are shut, expect difficulties and delays.

Use section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act to take it up with your credit card provider (assuming you paid by cc and not a debit card).

When was this ? as i bought something this week and it's now cheaper and can claim back but dont want to wait hours.
Don't use it if you want cashback - supposed to get £40 back on a laptop, used the free next day coupon and the cashback was refused a day or so after tracking.

Thank you for your advice. Ordinarily I would have but my circumstances have additional complications
Not sure why this is a Currys/Pc World bashing thread.

Like all retail stores they are having a bit of a cashflow dip, and free delivery is to get some sales in.

Obviously they have furloughed staff in their call centres, so your returns are harder than it was.

Be reasonable, and only buy what you need. They aren't amazon, they aren't a high volume low cost online store paying their staff peanuts, you can't expect the same level of service you used to have or indeed think you have.

Thanks. I'm sure you would be happy to receive a fridge that not only had a dent on the front door, it had already been used- as I stated above. The some of the packaging had been removed inside and it showed clear signs of prior use. Basically it was a reject frusge that had been re-packaged. Pass me the money and I'll arrange for it to be sent over to you. Cheers

As I've already said - it doesn't affect the operation if it has a dent. You just need to be patient and wait. Can't expect things to be as normal in a lockdown. You will get it sorted in time. Until now you can use it.

It isn't like you have nothing to use. Which is what some will have if their product is entirely faulty.

You don't have much to complain about.
