Free nights at Lindner hotels in Germany

Found 13th Jul 2011
Lindner hotels are giving members of the EU a discount based on their distance from the hotel. For people in the UK, lots of their hotels are 100% off and you can have a saturday night away for nothing!

There seems to be good availability at the moment for stays up until September.

Not true - perhaps you should take a better look or try an alternative hotel. Also seems the offer is until the first week of September. Would you really expect a hotel to offer unlimited free rooms????:|

How do you get the discount to trigger? Is it just a case of checking dates?
Germany is a great place to visit, get on it!

Under

http://www.lindner.de/en/promotion/summerdiscount/ImageStor/schritt1_en.gif

In the first box enter the City in which you reside, in the pull down menu select the hotel you want to stay at then click calculate discount. It should work out at 100% being from the UK.

Then click on

Select your dates (notice the promo code is already there). As long as your dates are available then they should show as 0.00 cost on the next screen
did that and no dates in any hotels show as free

Have you tried selecting from a Friday or Saturday?

Which hotel and dates are you selecting?
Tried all of the city ones that say it will be 100% free. Dates from next weekend until end August.

Nothing free
Make sure you are selecting from a Friday or Saturday and try only selecting for 2/3 nights and see if that works.
That is what I am doing

Thanks for your help, but it really isn't working

EDIT:
Cleared cookies and it started working!

Use promocode: KMDIS1000

(If you want less of a discount, use KMDIS###0 where ### is a number between 000-100, depending on the percentage you want off :D)
Brilliant, a Hotel and Spa less than an hour from where my girlfriend lives and I'm going there next week, £170 saved!

Where will you stay for this? And how would you get there?

I'm interested in doing that myself!
100% exceptionally hot deal - it does work however there are not many places left but I'm not surprised, as it's an excellent deal. Very good find Marble!
Fantastic find. I have some free weekends whilst I'm working in Europe, it'll actually save me money to go to Germany for those

Thanks to the OP!
Just cant seem to get it to work - selected Westerburg hotel for 1 night 8th August and it only gives a 50% discount (says it should be 80% from Oxford).
Help please have cleared cookies and we really need an overnight say when travelling back fron Austria!! oO
Please ignore my last comment - was clicking on hotel details rather than arrow to get pricing/availability.
Heat added got a great bargain for 18 euros!
sussed it now. Where can you get cheap flights to any of these locations in germany
Frankfurst 29th Jul-1st Aug fly from Manachester. Any cheap flights?
Very hot, Which other hotel do you get this discount from? Never seen it before. Very good idea to promote the hotels and the places
They take the distance based on the town in your passport when you arrive. So if you lie about your location or use that discount code then you'll be in for a shock...

Likewise if you don't live where you were born ! ! ! ! oO
Very hot deal, just a shame its not on still in October,as looking for room for night to break drive up.As even the 60% would be good.
As for showing the passport for where you live, surely driving licence would be better as how many people live still in town they were born?
Anybody done their stay yet? Was is worth the price
Just got back from staying in the 4 star hotel and spa in Binshof - it was fantastic with great pool facilities. Got 90% discount that was honoured so room for 2 adults and 2 children was 18.90 euros Room was large and they had a sofa bed to sleep on. Breakfast was charged at 9.50 euro for us all (??) and parking 5 Euros. So basically a fab hotel for less than 34 euros with breakfast!!!
Thanks opp it broke up a really mundane drive back home from our hols in Austria!!
