Posted as message received from O2. Apologies if already posted.

If you're having trouble with dropped calls at home or in the office, pick up a signal booster normally worth £150, for free.

Get online through your broadband, so you can call and text when there's no coverage.

That's an interesting question, I didn't even know that o2 did signal booster! They mainly promote the tugo app!

Regular customers can use the app Tu Go. It does the same thing. Both make use of wifi to allow you to make calls

Is this a sign that their network is struggling due to recent network outage losing many business & corporate clients? Too little, too late?

Most likely losing many customers to competitors. These mergers are just gonna get smaller with price increases.

looking at the terms you have to register o2 numbers on the box otherwise it won't work.

difference between these and tugo these are hard wired to your router and you don't need to install any apps on your phone.

Its not a booster you need but a network that works !!

..so,your o2 signal doesnt work...o2 want you to use another companies broadband to stop you complaining or leaving.Great logic!

For me a poor answer to a terrible service......I have one with 3 as I'm lucky if I can get 1 signal bar where I live, it's terrible!, I've checked/tried all other providers no signal with any where I moved to a year ago!. (Be aware that instore signal checkers in my experience aren't accurate as they show coverage where there is a poor signal). The home signal box connects to WiFi it's dreadful! when using the box calls don't get through, my phone doesn't ring then I get voicemail. I have no service so can't make or revive calls most days sporadically. Calls drop after awkward silences for a few minutes before cutting off. So it's a cold from me

More the fools who put up with it!
I just keep emailing my provider when poor signal keeps happening.Always get credit on account.Only time refused credit, contacted Ofcom who ruled that my provider were breaching the terms and conditions, and refunded a full month for poor/non service.Dont let them fob you off,YOU pay for a service

Surely it's not a phone companies fault that people build big metal factories that their signal can't enter? This is their way of helping their customers out.

I know I would rather use one of these devices than keep ringing up and getting money off because I can't talk to my customers, but I suppose different people get their kicks differently

Had an issue with my Three signal a while back and lost local coverage.

Three provided a uhome signal booster whic commects to your broadband router and creates a local 3G signal. Register up to 32 Three numbers and send/receive is full on.

2 using same techology.

I know a few people locally using them and they were free of charge.

If you need your mobile at home then ask for one or go to a provider that will give you a booster.

Works really well for us.
