With the summer holidays now here, I thought this was worth another mention. Great offer if you have a long layover in one of the following cities. Yep, forgot that, thanks have edited
You also have free hotel and stay offers at Bahrain, Qatar and AbuDhabi.
Tried this at Singapore the other week when I had a connecting flight there and they wouldn’t let me go through immigration due to having checked luggage that wasn’t with me so be warned, if you want to do this you will need to ask for your luggage to be dropped at the Singapore airport and collect before they will allow you.

Unless I had a really awkward immigration officer....

There are also free walking tours available (you can tip if you want) if you’re there longer and aren’t eligible for this.

Thanks for posting this. The Singapore offer has been around for a long time with my first free tour done in 1997

I don't think Qatar give a free hotel anymore.
The current scheme allows you to stay a night for a small fee of I think 23 usd, and then rises sharply for additional nights.
Can do this on both the outbound and the return leg if two or more travellers.
Anything similar in Dubai? I've got 2 nights there in November. I can use the Singapore one on my way back in December, thanks!
