Cheers op!

Nice 1 OP

Thank you! Heated

Nice one op thank you

ups only company that quoted 3kg parcel £56.00 ,No thanks.

Love the additional 10 % charge for guaranteed delivery. Without it I assume UPS just may not be bothered by the time they get to your parcel.

i think they try to deliver it 3 times to the address, instead of just once with the regular postage

if no is one in they drop it at a access point now. so assuming the 10% is for another try at dropping off. also if you link them on Facebook you get another £5 off

Thank you.

anybody used them? what are they like

damn just sent a parcel will use next time expiry date on this?

This is a absolutely lousy deal! The cheapest it came up with was ups at £16.87!
The same parcel booked through ups direct is £8.40.
So even with the one off £5 discount it it is still £3.47 more expensive.

And mine - far too expensive - cant beat the posties

The only one it came up for me was Via UPS at the cost of £18.36 oO

For a 1.8kg parcel it will cost £3.95 via Royal Mail recorded... even with the £5 off it's hardly a saving

Obvious I will!
But the only option when I put parcel size and weight in was ups!
Which is cheaper direct....so hence a rubbish deal (_;)
PS I would like to know where the op got the qoute for £4.60?
I put a 5kg parcel in sized 30cm x 20cm x 16cm and it came up with 4.69 excluding vat £5.63 inclusive and that was ups access point to access point!

I find the whole deal misleading

Going to use this one cheers

Marvelous Weymouth to Plymouth for £4.60 so am now sending a FREE parcel to my daughter, thank you for this deal

I check to send parcel abroad with ups and its more expensive than parcel2go, which I usually use, even after the discount...

Wahay! Thanks op!

I used parcel hero last year to send a package. Their charge was reasonable at £30 for the size of the item, but about a month later I got an invoice for an additional £40 saying that the parcel didn't match the dimensions I'd specified. I knew the measurements were correct but unless I had a photo from the day I'd send the parcel showing the measurements with a tape measure they weren't having any of it.

So if using, get a photo showing the proof of size first. Wouldn't touch them myself with a barge-pole as I've never had that issue before. They were really unhelpful too.

Plus next day didn't arrive next day even though I'd paid extra for it.

Did you actually pay the invoice?

For me options are Access Point (£4.60), but I need a "to the door" delivery, so that's no good, UPS but that works more than RM or other couriers even with £5 off, and TNT which is even more expensive.
Not gonna vote, as this seems to be a great deal if Access Point is OK with you.

worked for me, heat added... collection tomorrow... lets see how it performs... its UPS, so should be hassle free i hope.

Thanks OP

Nice one thanks OP

Gutted! I posted 5 parcels yesterday and searched everywhere for a CODE.

Beware, you have to pay for home delivery and for a signature/recorded which soon mounts up. A parcel I am posting tomorrow by RM according to the RM website will cost £3.95 delivered, a similar service from this website is almost £15

Some services are drop off and collect, so there is no delivery at the 'other end' it just needs to be collected which is fine only if the person receiving the parcel can get to a depot, a bit unfair otherwise.

Thank you for letting us know. I need to let my sister know that she needs to collect her parcel as it's not going to be deliveredto her home. Save £3.27 I think.

Price went from £4.69 to £9.31 when I added 'delivery to home address' which is listed at £1.45.

I'll stick with Hermes

just i time for me, thanks.

Well I just booked a "me to drop off at a local shop" and "UPS to deliver" for ~£9.40 for a 6kg parcel. That came down by £5 with the code given - which seemed pretty reasonable to me!

If I had had collection from an agency at the other end it would have been over £3 cheaper.

Thank you op!

Cheers op

I seem to remember they took the payment from the details they had from when I originally paid.

UPS seem like the only courier they use and thats way too expensive for me

a tenner to have it delivered?! what a joke. I might as well use myhermes.

This is only good if the other person is willing to pick it up from their nearest collection point.
