This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:

NHS staff, health and social care workers and NHS volunteers (critical care workers) can use this service to find free parking locations across the UK and check whether they need to register before they park.

Council Car Parks
All council car parks are providing free parking for these critical care workers. This service enables you to search for parking near to where you need to go. You do not need to register in advance for council operated parking. But you do need to do one of the following to prove your eligibility:

  • Display the universal government parking pass, available through your employer, in your windscreen,
  • Display a permit already issued for COVID-19 free parking from the local authority operating the car park,
  • Use any other evidence which has been agreed as valid by the local authority operating car park such as virtual permits.

Private Car Parks

Many non-council car parks, as well as some privately owned spaces and driveways, are providing free parking to critical care workers. The search facility will help you find them. Each operator may have their own requirements for registering eligibility, advertised on their websites or with signage at the car park.

I'm £20/month at our local hospital (As the most Junior Doctor) - Obviously people with higher salaries pay considerably more. They even had the cheek to deduct March's payment despite it already being declared free by the government.

Fantastic! About time this happened
Free to most at the moment, no one checking them. Councils have said they are free to use.
Also Milton Keynes Council is offering free on street car parking for ALL keyworkers, registration required.
I couldn't believe it wasn't free for the workers

Hopefully they reimburse you without hesitation. People won’t be happy when they go back to reinforcing the parking charges on the flip side of this.
Not sure if anyone will be able to answer this. It mentions NHS volunteers but does that include the 750,000 volunteers who have volunteered and use the GoodSAM app?

I can't find where on the app there's any sort of virtual permit or anything relating to parking.
I've been advertising free parking for the NHS on my neighbours lawn.

He'sgoing to be furious when he gets back from his 2nd home in the south of France. With any luck.

I’m a volunteer but don’t expect it as it says critical care worker volunteers which I am not, I’m just a pair of hands when needed.
