FREE Pasta Pot & Accessories with ANY Order from Staples

I received a Staples brochure yesterday with this offer on the front of it. I spent £10 on items and phoned my order through as the site was acting up. I received my parcel half an hour ago from the courier.

There is a large stock/pasta pot, an insert for it, a parmesan grater, a spaghetti scoop, a spaghetti measurer (omg I eat two people's worth!) and a timer. Everything is in stainless steel and nice quality. Ive taken a photo just now and posted it below

Seems to be a free bag now as well. I would rather have the stock-pot - looks great!
How much do you have to spend to get the free gift.
For the bag it is £39 plus vat.

£10 or more

That looks pretty good

There is no minimum spend that I can see, and I've read all the small print. I happened to need batteries and some box files so my order was £10.

Edited to add the small print - Free with ANY online or telephone order placed before 11th June 2010. You must quote 4K-74527 to receive your gift. When shopping online please enter the code in the "promotional offers" box in your shopping basket. Limited to one gift per customer while stocks last. How much is the delivery fee?

*edit*
found it:
free of charge on orders of £30 (ex VAT) or more
Charge of £2.90 is applied to orders with a value of £5 to £29.99 (ex VAT)
charge of £3.95 is applied to orders of £4.99 (ex VAT) or less

possible 7% Quidco

thx ordered some batteries for £2.99:)

At the checkout there's a charge for Order Care if you click on it you can cancel it making your order a bit cheaper. They charge VAT on the delivery charge too.

Thank you for this. I've just ordered some business/printer paper, two packs of Sonix gel pens and a ruler for £9.86 (this price includes the postage and VAT). If somebody needs a filler item to reduce their postage (which I did), you can pick up a 6" ruler for 14p. Just hope that they send me the pasta pot set now as it will come in really useful and it also looks like a nice set.

Yes it really is a nice set, not as cheap quality as Ive seen some stainless steel pans lately. Ive been wanting a pasta/stock pot with an insert for ages, so couldn't resist this one. Im sure you will get it as I only got the brochure yesterday through the post.

Can't get on the site

I've just received an email through from somebody at Staples called Sophie Taylor, saying, "Please note that our website and mail order catalogue are intended for business users only. In addition, our terms and conditions of sale state that Staples reserves the right to refuse orders of a size that are unlikely to be for business purposes. " Sorry, I thought that anybody could order from Staples online. Did anybody who has already done an order to get the pasta pot state that they were a business customer?

Oh dear Im sorry to hear that. This DOES happen but hasn't in quite a while on here. It just shows that despite only 56 degrees of heat and no rep, LOTS of people must have suddenly ordered with this offer. I do have a business account, but I didnt spend much either. And im sure it doesnt say on the site that you have to be a business customer, hundreds of HUKD users order stuff from there.

As I said, I received the brochure on Wednesday, and got my order yesterday, Thursday. There are bound to still be stocks left. And... isn't EVERY offer on HUKD while stocks last?

Great that you got it!

Me too, I thought it was a great offer. Oh well. Yet some cheap nasty overpriced thong set will go to 2000 degrees heat because a blown up photo of the model wearing it will be posted and the "On the Buses" style members will be drooling down their neanderthal jaws. Ironic though, as they're a million times more likely to find use for the pasta set, than find a model to fill the thong.

£15 delivery to Norn Irn, unfortunately.
