Free Pencil Case and Markers Worth £14.99 when you buy LABO Variety Kit (£59.99) or Robot Kit (£69.99) from Nintendo Direct

Found 7th Mar
£59.99 Delivered for the Variety kit or £69.99 delivered for the Robot kit. These can be had for a few pounds less elsewhere - but I think the pencil case and markers make this a better deal.

"It's just a piece of cardboard" - nope, it's software with accessories.
"Billion pounds for a piece of cardboard!!!" - nope, you're paying for software with accessories.
"Nintendo has gone crazy" - no-one is forcing you to buy this software with accessories.

There, sorted.

Cancelled my Amazon order and went for this.
Mmm... tat
Just feels way over priced for what it is. Probably just because it says Nintendo on it.
If anyone is interested to find out more about Nintendo and further updates to Labo, this video is very informative. Thank me later.

Save your money and buy something cheap on Amazon instead. It'll be surely delivered in as much cardboard as this contains
But seriously, excited about seeing this in action - and how long it lasts!
Free...when you pay £60/£70...

This just seems overpriced for software and accessories considering its made out of cardboard - least it could have been plastic for some durability.

Take for example the Labo Customisation set which includes:

Tape rolls x 2. Stencil sheets x2. Sticker sheets x2

You cant tell me that's worth £9!

I think most people are not happy with Nintendo's game prices and hence why we have an eShop tracker in play.

Have ordered the Variety Labo with £10 discount and I am really, really hoping this isn't just a novelty item. Rather save £10 than spend it on a pencil case and pens personally.

I NEED IT. Gotta wait till I get paid though
Cancelled my Labo preorder as I am hoping people will get bored of it and sell it on for cheap. But this being Nintendo, and the fact Labo looks really good, I doubt it!
Care to define the word “worth”?
I loved the idea when I saw the reveal. What a fantastic product for kids and the cardboard must really keep costs down especially considering you need a Switch to play.

Nope, more expensive than a full priced AAA game and the robot kit is more expensive than the variety pack.

Heat for the deal though.

Had the same thought, but can you imagine the state some of the second hand cardboard is going to be in?

I fear this too, but if I find a set in good condition it will save the hassle of setting it up (I know that's meant to be the fun of it, but I just want to try out the game on the robot one). Hoping someone plays with it once and then flogs it for cheap - should still be in decent condition then. Does anyone know whether the actual game (software) is digital or physical?

Will clone the cardboard and sell it half price on eBay
