Not free if im paying 4 pounds for delivery

I agree cheaper buy a few sticks or make them from some twigs from the park lol
Just ordered 2 sets, £6.95 postage.
Just bought these 'Not Quite' on one and 'My Tempo' on the other 😁
If I wanted holes in my pockets, I'd use scissors and save £3.95.
Isn't it funny that the cost for delivery from China/HK (i.e. Zalpal) is 1/10 of it for within the UK?

No, not really - considering there are more boats from China to the UK than from the UK to China, scale of economies plays a part, as does government subsidies...

I am sorry but I don't get your logic. We are not talking about this keyring being delivered to China for 4 quid so I hardly see how more boats from China to UK relates. If we were then fair enough. Even ignoring the international shipping, the simple comparison of the postage within the UK part:

UK warehouse ---> UK address = 3.95
UK port ---> UK Address = 0.40
Thanks
'Free' and 'Just pay' are a contradiction in terms.

So you think the supplier should give you the item free AND pay to have it hand delivered to your home? There are too many complaints of delivery charges on here, it costs to send things unfortunately, and free items just don’t have the profit margin to cover this cost, do they?
OP you might wanna delete the thread and start a new one without “free” in the title and just call it ‘engraved drumstick key ring for £3.95’. You’ll get more honest votes too.

Less than £4 for a personalised key ring is actually an average price so it’s a good deal, even more so it’s for drumsticks which is harder to find. Heat from me as I’m a drummer
So many people complain, the key ring is free the p&p is not! The amount of people that complain about stupid things. So many people get put off posting because of the keyboard warriors that complain the post isn't perfect or how they want it.

£4 is expensive postage, a small parcel up to 2kg only costs £2.80, these would probably fit through as Large Letter so about a quid..
And a firm will be getting that cheaper...

PS yes, I know it's P & packaging

No but it's not really free is it no way the postage costs 3.95 for them sticks maximum will be about 1.50. So that's still 2.50 profit for the company and they get to make some feel they've got something for free.

If there are more boats from China to the UK than there are from the UK to China, then pretty soon ALL the boats will be in the UK and there will be no boats in China!

The problem at the moment is that most of the world sends boatloads of empty shipping containers to China and imports boatloads of full shipping containers to China. As a result it should be very cheap to put stuff in a shipping container and send it to China.
(I read recently that Californian farmers were making use of this to ship hay to China - normally it wouldn't be economically viable to do so, but they could get such cheap shipping rates because the containers were going anyway that they were able to export thier excess and make a profit on it).
